Hi All,
Does development of fibrosis from Trimix injections lessen your likelihood of being a candidate for penile implant surgery? I've been on injections for about 24 months now and seem to be developing some thickening at the lower half of the penis shaft. I have a consultation for implant surgery in September but am concerned if the fibrosis continues it will prevent me from being able to receive an implant. Should I be stopping injections?
Thank in advance for your advise...

Re: Penile Fibrosis...
Implant surgery combined with remodeling is a good treatment for fibrosis. I had some curvature starting due to shots which was fixed during the implant. The curving and my desire to fix before too bad made me pull the trigger on the implant even though shots worked still unlike others who had to have implant due to ineffective shots. Glad I didnt wait.

If you are developing fibrosis from injections, then implant is the next logical step. I'd try to get that consultation sooner.

Re: Penile Fibrosis...
I just got my implant 6/1/15 and was inflated to 50% (note: my penis was straight before implant) .When I sit on my lazy boy with it in the upright position my penis takes a severe curve from base to glans almost like a L shape. when I position of lazy boy to horizontal mode my penis straightens out all by it self. I visited with my uro thinking it maybe penis fibrosis or worst and was told it was the swelling and 50% inflate. I am keeping my fingers crossed that he is right
