What costs to ask about that insurance may not cover?

Postby DonBecker54 » Tue Jul 07, 2015 8:58 pm

I'm hoping to see Dr. Milam in Nashville sometime soon. I'm in no position to pay out a lot of money for an implant. If insurance isn't going to pay for just about the entire thing, I can't do it.

Aside from the surgeon's fees, the hospital's fees, the anesthesiologist, and the implant itself, what other costs might there be that insurance might not cover?

i had to travel 7 hours by car. I went to Seattle so kind of pricey. I had a 3 night stay 1 week to get all tests done then pre-op.
I got back home on a Wednesday and returned early the same Saturday for a 4-night stay.

Since we had a 7-hour drive home we stayed in the area the same night i was discharged. If you are traveling and need to stay over I would recommend at least a day or two to get your head straight. (both actually)

Those were my costs.
