When Short Is Too Short?

Postby billy2016 » Fri Feb 12, 2016 8:57 am

Hi guys,

I have been lurking in here for a few months now and have been following the recent discussions over the penis size post penile implant surgery.
I'm a young guy, 23, who recently (3 months ago) had a Coloplast Titan implanted in my penis.
It works perfectly and I can get a rock hard erection after 30 pumps or so.
My only concern (as many others in here) is also on my size. I went from 6' pre implant to my current size of 5' when aroused.
I always had a pretty good girth and I believe I still have the same girth (even though I never measured it).

Due to my ED (venous leakage) , I did not have many sexual experiences, and could only enjoy sex on a few occasions when I could lay on my back and the girl on top.
I don't want to go through another surgery and pass through the recovery process all over again trying to recover my prior size. (I also had to pay it on my own pocket so don't want to pay for another surgery)
So I decided to move on and try to live life with my current 5' penis.
My question is.. When short is too short for penetration? Would I have any difficult in some position? Any creative suggestions from other guys who also had to adapt sex life with a smaller penis?

Thanks in advance!

I spent about 4 decades as an adult with a little over 5". Had a good sex life with a number of girlfriends, followed by three wives (divorced, widowed, remarried) - none of them had any complaints and neither did I. So in my long experience, 5" is plenty. How much you have is less important than what you do with it.

It's long enough provided you know how to use it ;) Only in the first third of the vagina are nerves, simplified worded. Normally the thicker the better.

Pre radical prostectomy (10/14), about 4-5 years ago, I measured myself and from against the pubic bone to the tip with a rock hard erection I was about 7-1/4 with a large girth. Now, after surgery and implant surgery (December 8th), my first measurement (about 3 weeks ago) was about 5-1/2". Measured myself yesterday and found I was about 6" or a bit over, so I am hopeful that I am gaining some length. To the point of the OP, my wife and I have had some frustration with the shorter length trying to find positions that now worked (and she has some vaginal pain issues as well which complicates the situation as some positions that would work better with a shorter penis are painful to her). BUT, after experimentation we have found several ways to have satisfying intercourse. You will too, just be creative and try different thing :) Experimenting is fun :) :)

A lot of it depends on your anatomy (besides the penis) and your partner's anatomy. Since the average is 5.5" reliable sources state, then your size is perfectly fine for a good sex life. Enjoy it, guy! :D

I was 5" at best before surgery and am not much over 4" now. Intercourse is not like before minimal penetration and the base of the penis bends while it didn't with a normal erection. So am I disappointed, yes, but I will take this over two plus years with a limp dick. I doubt we will be doing some of the positions we did before (like doggie style) but something including penetration with orgasm beats nothing. I have also been told over time my LGX will get a little longer - I hope so.
Age 68 - AMS LGX 12+2cm. Lost over an inch from pre-ED length but thicker for what it's worth (not much). ED result of heart meds.

I still have some soreness especially where the ends of the rods are near the glans at the tip of the penis. The pain fortunately is decreasing over time. The longer I leave it inflated the more painful.

That can actually be a good sign. Your penis is still stretching. Try an agressive pumping regimen.
