Revisons

Postby Toonarmy » Mon Feb 22, 2016 6:03 pm

Hi, does a revision mean the whole device being replaced or can the surgeon simply replace a specific element? I got my Titan on the NHS, i worry they might say i cant have a revision as i've already had my freebie so to speak.

I had my pump replaced several years ago. After that got infected the whole implant was replaced. Here in the states and with AMS, all replacement parts, for any reason, are covered, we (our insurance) pays for the surgery. Life time warranty on the implants!

I asked my urologist that very question. He said unless infection was involved and it was the pump defective he would replace just that.
