On Wednesday I go for my six-week followup, and will be "fully" inflated for the first time. I'm sure it's going to hurt. I'd be surprised if it didn't.
I'm just wondering how long the pain lasts. I'm going to Italy on April 12th, and had hoped to hook up with a pretty young thing there, but I suspect I'll still have too much pain for that.
How long was inflating painful for you?

Re: How long did pain with inflating last for you?
Inflating for the first time was not painful for me. After the doctor showed me how to inflate and deflate it in his office, I went home and my wife and I gave it a test drive.
Re: How long did pain with inflating last for you?
I've been "fully" inflated numerous times by doctors in the last 2 weeks and myself on the order of 2 times per day although I never seem to do but one. Never had any penis pain from inflation but it does stiffen up those damned tubes going around the penis and that is where it hurts. Not so much at first but more the longer it is inflated. The bumping tubes when attempting to have sex can make it sore in the pubic area after a bit. my tubes are far enough past the bone I can slide my fingers behind them when inflated enough you can feel the finger tips touch through the skin so pushing trying to get this shortened up thing in as deep as I can pushes on the tubes too. Cylinders do not hurt, but might be different if my implant was right as it does not increase much in girth, barely noticeable and none in length. yesterday morning I pumped 305 pumps. Most ever. Took an hour and 5 minutes. Closest ever to being to the point it would not bend and I assume reservoir was near empty because the bulb filled real slow but no pain in the penis. I usually give up between 100 and 170. Doc tells me 20 aught to pump it up hard and no more than 40 should ever be needed and too hard to squeeze bulb by then.. I did find out why it burned like hell with the catheter. They coated the catheter with 50% betadine solution as the slid it in. I do not know about urethral tissue which is very tender by nature, but know from my veterinary science that it can burn the skin if not dilute enough. You may get some pain from stretch or may have none at all. I would not worry about it too much. Several have told me just back it off a little and go about getting down to business. Glad I have my Italian here at the house and don't have to travel to get one. 32 years in 2 more weeks. The scrotum gets sore pumping but I just move the pump over a little to a new piece of skin. Doc Thursday pumped it and squeezed the crap out of it trying to get it to work and that hurt. I told him to stop and he let me take over as there seems to be a process when it won't pump. YOUR pump has to be squeezed from both sides to deflate if I understood the demo the other day but the buttons are a lot bigger than on the AMS so I would think that would be more comfortable. Just be sure and hold the tubes so if the pump bulb slides in the skin you don't shoot that thing into the nearest nut. It will happen at some time and you will understand.

Frist time inflating at 3 week point hert like hell .Doc said clear for cycling and said he'd leave it up so I could go home and test drive .I have been cycling for 2 weeks and still herts but we have test drove 3 times now each time it gets better. BUT I'm in the trades and not at a desk job which I sure doesn't help the healing process. BY my 3 week frist inflation I had log over 100 hrs probley way I had more the normal swelling Per Doc.I'm at 5.5 weeks now and I call it a healing pain. .

What about pain with intercourse?
Re: How long did pain with inflating last for you?
Intercourse has not been too successful with a skinny short bending dick. Only pain there has been the damned tubing on the side and tubing above penis when bumping. Enough to hurt but tolerable but damned annoying and frustrating. When you are screwin gyou do not want these annoyances. Just as well have a bunch of kids banging on the door asking " what are you doing?" Kind of a mood killer as you want to get the job done as best as the little dick will let you but your mind is also on avoid the hurt.

I remember once as a kid trying to open the door to my parents' bedroom, and the door was locked -- which it never was. "Daddy?" I called out. "What?!" my father answered rather angrily it sounded. "Can I come in?" I responded. "Go away. I'll talk to you later," my father said. I didn't know what was going on then, but when I was older I figured out what had happened. "Dad, I'm really, really sorry," I would want to tell him now.

Re: How long did pain with inflating last for you?
Inflating was never painful. For years I had used a VED, probably one of the reasons for not being sore. Sex was a different story, but only during the first let's say three months. Strange, my operation took place last year August but many things left my memory already. I should have made notes.
One thing I'll never forget: when I woke up after the op I was still rather confused. My dick was pumped up to the maximum, there was no pain but I could feel my erection! A few metres from me was a pretty nurse standing, I called her, she came, looked at me and left. I called again but she didn't react. She most likely understood that I was interested in something...

When I first started cycling, there were two phenomena which may be pertinent to you guys on this particular blog:
1. It took me forever to start as I had a few difficulties with getting the Titan Touch to work. Alibaba, pumping 305 times has to be some kind of record! However, I had a similar situation. When I first tried pumping, the thing wouldn't budge. To make a long story short, The urologist gave it everything he had when asking me to come in for an appointment and you could hear and feel a noticeable click. Then it finally pumped.
2. But that wasn't the end of the problem. I could pump and pump it 60 times and wouldn't even get remotely hard. I tried this for a week or more and contacted the urologist who seemed concerned that there may have to be surgery to correct the mechanism if the problem didn't get solved.
In a follow up appointment, he tried again and a different kind of 'pop' with the pump squeezing strangely. After that, I took over and gave myself the first hard erection that I ever got with the implant. It was over the top insane!
Here is what occurred. The first scenario is what is known as "Pseudo-malfunction of the Coloplast Titan Inflatable Penile Prosthesis One-Touch Release Pump." (I can get you a a link to that if you want.) The second was something I have yet to see published. But in essence, if this 'pop' isn't activated, you can pump forever and nothing happens. From reading reports from other men on this website I learned a technique that went as follows: Press the release valve and squeeze the penis. Initially, you may want to do this twice or more. But you get to a point where, even after the device has softened, it once again gets hard to pump. REALLY hard. That's good. Because, now, you try squeezing at different places on the bulb. For me it was slightly off to the right. Then I would get the 'pop' and, instead of 60 pumps and still somewhat flaccid, 10 pumps would get it hard as a rock. I did this two to three times a day for two months and the same darn thing occurred every time, but I would get it to work.
Now, after almost nine months, it usually has the 'pop' without operating the release valve. But not every time. But it's totally reliable that I can press the release valve it it will always work. THIS IS IMPORTANT. If it squeezes (for me at least) and I don't have resistance (very hard bulb) followed by a strange pop and then the bulb gives way totally, IT'S NOT WORKING. You get used to the feeling. When the bulb pops, the bulb goes from being very hard to squeeze to a pop and then you can squeeze it all the way very easily. The most pumps I can get after the pop is 20.
I hope that this explanation helps.
Now the answer to the first question. When I first was able to finally get an erection it never hurt when I pump it totally, but it would start to hurt after about an hour as the tubes still had to enlarge the area in which they are inserted.

PAIN with intercourse at 3 weeks and now at 5.5 weeks is about the same as pain on trimix injections. Each week it's getting better.Best way to describe it.AFTER 5 years on that crap You get use to pain.I'm sure that will get better over time ,From the input I haven't got form some of the veterans of more then one implant . You have lots of time even starting cycling at 6 weeks .April is a lot of time cycling. MY DOC want me cycling at 3 weeks. And now at 5.5 weeks we have test drove 3 times.
