Hi I just joined.

I am 55 and two years ago I was newly married, shortly after which my mild ED became severe.
For the most part I suffer from weak erections and Anxiety Performance ED.

We both love frequent sex (when it works). And for the most part our sex has been very good or very bad, mostly because of my ED. About the only time it is ok, (not great and not bad) is an occasional quickie in the morning or late at night.

Shortly after I was married my new wife told me she wanted more sexually and didn't know if she could continue if she could not do what she wanted.
Up until this point every time we tried woman on top, (the only position she can orgasm without a vibrator) I would lose my erection. I would also lose my erection when she gave me oral sex. Unfortunately she does not see a flaccid penis as one that needs aroused but she takes it personally.
Six months later at her prompting I (gladly) went to the men's clinic, she came with me. I didn't find their consultation of much help in answering any specific questions other than giving me the miracle drug cialis. I was able to have sex like never before. However the cost was prohibited at $15-$16 per pill and splitting the pill produced mixed results.

I find it difficult in trying to explain how my member works. She seems to expect pretty much automatic erections. Which I find ironic in that when I give her manual or oral sex, she let's me know that it does not do that much for her. However when she gives me manual or oral, she has said I am not normal if I don't get (or keep) an erection.

I find that the meds definitely help. Although occasionally they don't do that much. I've also found that on our weekend sex is the best because I take the meds three days in a row.

I would like to mention that I was previously married for 25 years. And for the last 20 years, my x definitely had an aversion to almost all sexual contact. For years about the only time we had sex was when she was ovulating. At her prompting I would give her 30-60 minute massage, followed by 15-20 minutes of me giving her OS, followed by 1-2 minutes of intercourse. During which the ENTIRE time she closed her eyes, said nothing, and NEVER touched me. I can count on one hand (with fingers left over) the number of times she touched my member lovingly for more than a few seconds. Gives me the creeps thinking about it. Oh yeah my x definitely had more feelings for her own sex.

That was quite a story. Welcome to the club. You sure went from one extreme (lower than low) to if not another extreme -- a damn nice gig. So you are saying you are very functional with Cialis, but you just don't like the price?

Well who would like a ridiculous $15 a pill?? At that street price my refrigerator has about $2000 dollars worth of cialis (well, Tadalafil ) and viagra and levitra. But I only paid a dollar or less per pill.
If you have not already found the All Day Chemist website in your browsing this forum you should! Just google away.

And if you are leery about exposing your credit card to foreign servers, you can easily get a simple VISA paid card at CVS or anywhere with say $200 on it and use that for your ordering. Very safe.

Yes I definitely went from the dessert to the oasis. Several months ago my wife started a new job, with a 5 hour commute. As a result for about 4 weeks there was no sex during the week, but the weekends turned into a marathon. One weekend I remember having more (better) sex with my new wife that weekend than in the last ten years with my ex!!

I have issues with ED. However my (new) wife thinks its all in my head. As I mentioned in my OP without the meds I suffer from weak erection, and Performance Anxiety. However unless my penis is acting like when I a 20 year old. It becomes a problem for both of us.
I have been to two sex counselor about a dozen times. The first was relationship based counseling which didn't help. The second counselor lives 75 miles away and helped me greatly but my wife couldn't find the time to go. For the past 6 months neither of us have had the money to go, but I'm hopeful that will change in the next few months. I believe that if my wife goes, she will understand how to handle both her own disappointments, and be accepting my own sexuality. Rather than relying on her past. Which she has had several other sexual partners. The first was in his 30's (which she says was normal sex). The second one she experienced 10+ years of refusal (she says he had no sex drive).

I find it ironic that I am adventurous. I want to find how both of or sexuality work. My wife however is adventuresome only with an erect penis. Except for WOT, my wife needs a vib to come. And she always needs lub to start intercourse. I see both of those things as a part of who she is and what she needs sexually. What I'm saying is that if I don't have an erection my wife is not interested in pursuing sex. Where-as I wish she would take a more active approach with my erections, as she plainly tells me says my erections are my responsibility. She never ask me to take the pill. Nor does she ask or find out what I need to get and maintain an erection.

From what I've read both partners should find what turns the other on and be understanding. For example when we first got together I gave her lots of OS, partially because of my weak erections. However she usually O from them. But then she told told me she preferred intercourse and didn't particularly like OS, (which I find hard to believe). As a result I give her less OS with only several minutes of OS to warm her up, (unless she gets really into it). On the other hand I have to ask for OS. Actually I almost always end up initiating, because as she says, she never knows when things will work. I would like to pursue this with the sex therapist but I think she too sufferers from anxiety performance!

Regarding the quality of the pills I would say they are on par with the brand names. My concern now is that the charges will be reversed. And I get my pills before I run out.

One thing regarding generics. I no longer skimp, if there is a chance for sex I pop the pill. I only cut them in half if I want to take half in the morning and half in the evening.
