Well my bionic friends, it appears my implant has stopped working. I was implanted Dec. 16, 2014 with a AMS 700 LGX. I tried to pump it last evening and after about 20 pumps I still on got a moderately mushy erection. I noticed that I was not getting that coveted "pop" on the first pump. Given those two things I suspect a failure of some kind. Usually 20-25 pumps brings the points up into the head of my penis.
Any suggestions? I plan on calling my URO's office Monday. I will be getting a new one this time around. My old URO retired this spring. This group of Dr.s do almost nothing but surgeries for all kinds of urology problems, mostly prostrate cancer. Given that I am sure there is a qualified implanter in the group.

Mine has done that a couple of times.
Seems to only happen if I and my implant are warm enough - I am able to squeeze the bulb without the "pop" enough for it to feel as if I'm inflating but it never quite gets there.
I have found if I deflate and squeeze as normal so that it fully deflates it seems to clear itself. When I go again I get the "pop" and I am able to inflate.
Hope it's something that simple.

Re: Possible AMS 700LGX Failure
Dave, thanks for your reply. After reading your response I tried again and it appears that you might be right. I was able to pump it up fully and remain with a full erection for about 15 minuets. My wife was very tired last evening so was not able to give it a test drive Maybe today later.
Funny how a thing like this can cause panic. But hopefully this was a false alarm.
