Injury using implant

Postby thedudeguy » Mon Aug 29, 2016 11:59 am

Some quick background:

I've been a lurker on this site quite a while. Thanks to everyone for posting such detailed stories; it made my decision to get implanted 5 weeks ago much easier. (22cm coloplast titan, done by Dr. Francois Eid in NYC).

I'm going to see Eid later today for followup, but the reason I'm writing here is, I'm curious if anyone has ever slipped out and missed their partner during intercourse using the implant.

I'm feeling like an absolute moron right now because, this weekend, testing my implant out for second time with girlfriend, she was getting too aggressive when we were having sex doggystyle and I hit her pelvis (not SUPER hard), but hard enough that I bent the implant and recoiled in pain.

Now when I inflate, there is a definite lump and swelling on the right side (no discoloration though.)

I'm anxious as hell about this screwing up my long-term results, and I'm just curious if anyone can offer me any reassurance or thoughts.

Oh dear lord... My first though was that you are crazy... The second is, that I thought about such a thing happening to me if I would have an implant in the future. When I was in Dr Goldstein's office, because of the penile revascularization surgery, we discussed implants as well and they hinted at the possibility of one injuring himself with one, but that it would be very hard. I would hope that you made a small tear in the tissue and that it will heal back without further surgery... But I would be careful from now on

Hey man, I appreciate the note. Went to see Eid today and he said he was not the least bit concerned about damage. I was overreacting apparently. And he said with the implant it'd be very difficult to screw up my anatomy even if I do thrust and hit my girlfriends pelvis.

Are you planning on doing revasc? I flew out to SD and spent two days with Goldstein doing all his testing. I was a candidate but opted to go right to implant. PM me if you want to talk about this -- I have a lot of thoughts as I spent over three years deliberating revasc and implant.

That would be a god send if we were able to talk. I am 2 years post penile fracture, and was there in San Diego on March this year. I am also a candidate, sort of, and i am having the same dilemma as you did. Also, glad it was nothing bad on that, and it was just a scare!! I will pm you soon.
