Urolgist thought I should be functioning properly...

Postby drw1107 » Fri Jan 13, 2017 5:19 pm

He found some uti issues, and nothing seriously wrong with my junk/ prostate that needs immediate attention. He wants me to start on the pills and explained that he prefers the effects of Levitra for me at this time. I will see him every 6 months for no established amount of time, so still not sure what's going on right now.

I stopped taking the pills. I really don't like the feeling of an unnatural erection during intercourse or masturbation, and ejaculation doesn't feel right either - I don't feel "fireworks" as I release like I used to. I'm so tired of doctors asking me if this is mental/ emotional, rather than functional. Getting frustrated...

I'm sorry to here your frustration it can work on a guy I know it did me pills quit working for me but when I was taking them Levitra worked but made me feel the worst this was many years ago I went to Viagra wasn't quit as bad side affect wise but I think the best was Cialis daily it did make me feel kinda crappy at first but a couple weeks I got used to it and wasn't bad plus it helps your prostate I'm surprised you having prostate issues he wouldn't have prescribed it there's a lot of guys on here that do really good with injections also I didn't go that path but all I have talked with had good success hopefully you can find a doc that will listen my PC sent to a Uro once he couldn't help anymore
Good luck don't give up there's hope out there just keep plugging away you'll find what works for you

Hi Jim,

I see in your profile that you had severe scarring in the corpora cavernosa. Do you mind me asking how you got this. I have been injecting for about 2 years. I'm just hoping I haven't screwed my corpora cavernosa up by injecting. My junked worked ok, but I basically started injecting for convenience. I could have quick sex with my gf. Anyways, I did feel a little hardness in area that I injected most often. The reason I ask is because about 3/4 months ago, the injections had become less effective.

I'm hope I didn't screw up my corpora cavernosa by injecting. My junk worked at times ok just 5 or 6 months ago. I could get myself hard. Now I can't seem to do that. I basically started injecting for convenience so that I could have sex with my gf without too much effort because we only have a limited amount of time. A few weeks ago I did feel a little hardness in area that I injected, like a bump. I haven't injected in a few weeks, and I have noticed that bump is almost gone. The reason I ask you about your scarring is because about 3/4 months ago, the injections had become less effective.
