56ish hours post implant - the shower - Saran Wrap

So by now, I was truly a "dirty old man". Post-op instructions are don't shower for 48 hours, no direct water contact for 10 days. How to keep my goodies dry yet wah my face, hair and pits. Thought of a plastic grocery bag, figured not sanitary enough.... Went to the kitchen thinking Zip-loc... saw the Saran Wrap.... Wrapped my goodies, then had my wife hold the box sideways while I did a couple of twirls.... It was not a pretty sight, but it worked. My goodies were a bit damp from sweat but the gauze over my "drain hole" was dry.

So.... Clean and no immediate pain.....

My doc said I could hshower the day I was discharged. Had mine done Feb 15th still don't let water direct spray but been showering since day after surgery with no problem.

Look uo the definition of "helmet bath". Or just do a hospital-typucal spnoge bath, even upright it works.

I was too yucky for a sponge bath.... Or helmet bath....

My instructions were to lie flat in bed as much as possible for two days after surgery......on the third day the bandage came off, catheter out, and I was able to shower although I couldn't wash my balls or penis for another week......

Had my first shower 24 hrs after surgery taking care around incision. That is one of the many reason I chose my doctor. Didn't want a drain, wanted to shower and not stay at hospital. With Dr. Kramer I got all and a very nice working implant. Things went very very well.

I had outpatient, a catheter and no drain (and a lousy doc) the first time and had massive long lasting swelling. 2nd time, overnight in the hospital, drain, no catheter (boy, that first piss was nasty) and very minor swelling. Same this time. Gonna "Saran Wrap" this old man after while and have another shower.
