Next Wenesday, Dr Eid OR

Postby GiRn56 » Fri Apr 07, 2017 9:24 am

Scheduled next Wednesday With the good Dr Eid at Lenox Hill Hospital . Apprehensive but excited to get this done and move on with my life. As newly single and the frightening dating environment. Sex by the 3rd to 5th date or whatever it winds up being. Will feel great not to step into a relationship not shackled by my ED.. it will be great and satisfying to see the looks and expressions after being serviced by a bionic dick... This is a great site and I learn something new everyday here...

I was in your position 3 months ago.....Dr. Eid, Lennox Hill......one of the best decisions of my life and one of the best doctors for this...... yes, those ED clouds of gloom will be gone.....the dating world today is crazy and women expect a lot.....and you will be able to deliver.....be patient during your healing time.....while the first 3 days are crucial (to follow instructions) and seem to go slow, by the time you're feeling fairly normal, it will seem like a speck of time.....all the best.....
Implanted Jan 4 2017 by Dr. Eid - 70 yo and single...ED gradually over 15 yrs...tired of pills, injections, cock rings....happy with my choice and results. Titan OTR - one 20cm cylinder - one 20cm+1 RTE...."got a rocket in my pocket"....

Sir,

I can feel and understand the multilevel stack of emotions you are going through. The uncertainty of the outcome of the surgery is the cherry on top of all other things you revealed you are going through. However, look it at this way: you already have decided to move ahead with fixing this issue (which in itself is a huge step forward), and have selected one of the best regarded surgeons.

I am sure that at the end of this road, you will find that a huge and heavy load has been lifted from your shoulders, and you will be able to move on with your life. Remember that among all of us combined, you can find all types of background stories; we are willing to offer you our own learnings by sharing our experiences to help you succeed.

So, use this forum as a bunch of friends that are going through, or have gone through many of the same issues. We will try to give you the best advises we can.

Wishing you the best!
54 years old, happily married for 30 years to a beautiful & outstanding lady. Onset ED at 49. Finally fixed on 11/08/2017 by the master Dr. Eid with a Titan XL 26, no RTEs! Previously had 3 AMS implants (LGX & CX), all botched.

...excellent choice of surgeon/one of the best. To paraphrase rapper Jay-Z, after Wednesday you may have 99 problems but ED won't be one of them!

good luck. I was in your position just two months ago. Today, I am super happy that I did the implant. Surgically cured of ED and I can have sex "anytime, anywhere, and with any willing woman for as long and often as I want"
In a nutshell....one of the best decisions I have made....very happy.

Do realize that my "fairy tale recovery" and "better than hoped" size and rigidity all resulted from my doing an enormous amount of homework and investigation to choose the very best surgeon in an awesomely excellent NYC medical center.

I hope things go well for you, but even if there are bumps in the road, realize that you are truly in excellent and caring hands (Dr Eid) and that you have some knowledge base and moral support in this franktalk community.

GODSPEED to you "GIRn56"

Good luck. Make some headlines.
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.

Well finally made it to the Bentley, which is a tired facility, after a cancelled flight earlier. See Dr Eid in the afternoon for all the prep stuff. Not looking forward to getting another scope up my pecker from a stone right distal ureter last week but oh well. Leaning towards a Titan.

1st day postop.. Had surgery at Lenox Hill Ambulatory Surgery.. I had great service by everyone I interacted with there.. Well worth the trip from Iowa to have Dr. Eid's skilled hands and his extensive background to provide us men with an life after ED... His demeanor, bedside manner and reassurance of doing everything to make it right is impressive from this old bedside nurse. So far everything, I know its the first day, marginal swelling, Coloplast Titan 20, bigger than we spoke, pain now under control. Hopefully the perfect results...
I'm staying at the Bentley, Its ok, noted the outside food vendors are prompt and courteous and the food I have had has been great. Had breakfast room service this am and alot for what you order. As far as ice for swelling just call the front desk and hey have ice buckets delivered. I had the PACU RN give extra ice bags so no need to bring anything other than your priority things, lighter the better YMMV... Finally the nurse in me was tired of the bulky dressings and rearranged them so i could get the icebags to work. Few pictures included of things... So happy to have this done... Regards
