Pump bulb placement on revision

Postby revisionnyc58 » Sun Apr 09, 2017 12:42 pm

Hi all,
I am 10 days post revision, with a new AMS LGX 21cm
Since healing. Deflated 100 % by Dr post surgery. Difficult to get the old reservoir out, so needed to heal uninflated, but will get inflated in a week.
So.. the Dr installed my pump bulb where my right testicle is, and pulled the right testicle behind the pump. My first surgery 8 years ago.. the bulb was centered behind my testicles. This new version feels a bit wierd. Do most of you have it front and forward, or tucked behind your testicles?

My titan bulb is low in the scrotum in the middle. Have no conflict with the boys. My right testicle does ride a little higher (I think) than pre surgery. I never paid mych attention to where the "boys" hid before surgery, so i'm not sure. Regardless, the pump is accessible with either hand for both inflation and deflation.

My AMS 700 bulb is on the right side on the high side. I have a tight sack and for the most part, you can't tell it's there. It gets easier to pump as time goes on. I am 15 weeks out.

I never had a problem when it was in the back for 8 years. It will be easy to pump being front and forward now..but it just feels different having my right testicle hidden ..
I bet the tubing length from the pump bulb to the cylinders is shorter than it was from my first implant . Which will be better.
