Going for pre opp appt tomorrow

Well tomorrow I see my doctor for the pre opp appointment. I also see the anatheaseologist.I have a lot of questions. Oddly enough I had started taking a aromatse inhibitor to reduce estrogen, and have been getting night time wood. But the wood is only about 40%, so the VL is real. I will let him know about this. I can't help but think that I caused scarring by injecting which caused the VL, but really, what does it matter now!

Wishing you all the Best with your upcoming Penile Implant.
I was implanted withh the Coloplast Titan in 2007 after developing ED Post-Prostatectomy in 2004.
My Implant restored both my sex life and the emotional bond with my wife.
I would do it again in a heart-beat!!

Well, I saw the doctor and asked what he was going to use. He said he is going to install the AMS LGX. That's good, that's what I preferred. He doesn't use the titan type. He said he could direct to me someone that does use them. Nah, the AMS is ok with me. I don't know why, but forgot to tell him I had hernia surgery 37 years ago. And I think they used the mesh method. He still thought he could still use the 3 piece unit. Hopefully the mesh is not all across my abdomin. I guess even if he had to put the 2 piece unit in, it would be better than what I have now.

Note, in the setting of hernia surgery, etc, placing the reservoirs in an "ectopic reservoir location" is a thing that some implant surgeons do.

Sliphill....best of luck!! Surgeon told me I'd be sorry for a month or so, then very happy. I have not been sorry once since coming out of anesthesia 10 days ago. Just sorry I waited this long. Life is good, and you will be, too
