Hey guys, I currently getting my Trimix from a pharmacy in NV. It's costing me twice th ecost of the medication just to have it shipped. Is anyone near Chicago and know of a pharmacy in the area that's equipped for Trimix?
I'm also looking for insurance coverage, but my BlueCross/BlueShield PPO is saying "no" to both Trimix and/or the individual ingrediants. I don't get it .Trimix is certainly cheaper than Viagra.
Thanks guys.

Re: Trimix near Chicago?
I get my Trimix from Wedgewood Pharmacy in NJ which charges $10 for standard 3 day shipping without guarantee of temperature problems during shipping, though it arrives wrapped in an ice pack. (I live in NJ so I get mine in one day) One day guaranteed shipping is $30. Trimix itself costs $70.
Suggest you call them at 800-331-8272 to discuss options.

Hi Gemini,
Do an internet search for “compounding pharmacy” in the Chicago area or ask your Dr. if he/she can suggest a few near your home. You should be able to find several close by that can compound your Trimix. I get mine through that type of pharmacy in MI. My price is about $80.00 for .5ml and that will give me about 40 doses.
I don’t know the level of coverage you have with Blue Cross but they have dropped all forms of E/D treatment from my formulary. I just have to figure how much it’s worth to me to regain some degree of function, and at approx. $2.30 a shot including the one time use needle it's a pretty good deal.
Good Luck, Lou
