hello to all
I'm 55 years old, gay, single, diagnosed with Peyronies condition almost 2 years ago, noticed the bending with torque at the base of the shaft a few months before that but had no idea what it was except that the ED seemed to be worse than I had been noticing for about 3 years prior. So all total I've been on this downhill erection spiral for about 5 years. Two ultrasounds one year apart showed arterial function with venous leak. This August 16, 2017 I am having the AMS implant, having planned for it last summer but got real apprehensive and wondered what the hell I was doing. Now, having found this website and reading it for about 1 month I am very confident that I am making the right decision. And I want to say thanks to all of you who have written here with such seriousness and sincerity. Your thoughts, feelings and words reflected mine so many times it's been like an echo and a mirror. At this point I'm eager to get to the next level, recuperate, and move forward. Patience, I know. But at least the stress of having to go more time without the full functioning of my dick will be gone. And the humor has helped too!

Re: hello to all
Just out of curiosity, can you share why you opted for the Ambicor two piece rather than the AMS 3 piece models or the Coloplast Titan?

lol my bad. I'm beginning to realize I've been confused by all the new lingo. I am scheduled to receive the AMS probably LGX, possibly CX, depending on scarring. Thanks for catching that. And believe me .. I'm sitting in front of a pile of notes taken, questions asked, etc. It's a new day!

Good Luck on the implant! I can second your sentiments. This site and the guys on it provide invaluable information and the exciting possibility of a second life.
ED since 35 with no known cause -- injections successful for over a decade with 10/1/30 and less than 20units but that became ineffective. Implanted penoscratally by Dr. Kramer of Baltimore on 9/13/17 with AMS 700 LGX 21cm + 0.5cm RTE at 47 years old
