Other implant forums

Postby newbie1 » Sun Sep 17, 2017 6:47 am

I have been reading Franktalk and some other implant forums. It seems almost close to all the implanted posters in Franktalk have great success and are satisfied. Quite a large number of implanted posters in the other forums reported dissatisfaction and disappointment with their implants. The reports are not confined to Canada but some reports are international from other countries. Any comments?

I have seen that myself. Thought sane thing.
My trusted urologist, a really good guy told me not to do it.
Told me I would be miserable. Told me that I would be "mutilated"
Told me often he has patients coming in asking for help. Or to remove it.
Told me they are miserable and regret it.
Told me he does not treat them because nothing he can do to help them.

Their are a few medical studies. From medical hospitals.
Looked legit.
Not mentioning names but overall the results seemed on positive side
Never going to make 100% of the people happy.

2 Dr's I saw. A GP and cardiologist I asked told me they thought overall people where happy with implant. From what they heard.
That was not a suggestion to get the implant. But they I have been using for awhile. Think they would have warned me if they knew anything. I asked both if they would do my clearance for surgury
Thinking of getting implant. Have not done it because of the length I
have lost.

I am not suggesting that getting implant is a good idea also.
I am thinking of getting implant also.

I'm curious where the forums are (web address) ... interested in checking them out. Also curious who the implanting Doctor's are?

I don't think there is really very much negativity in this group; it's a Yahoo group (Penile Implant) that I am co-moderator of. (You have to make a request to join, and then I will accept your request and make you a member.) Please let me know if you have any questions.
