Hi guys, I'm 26 from Canada and I've been suffuring from ED for a 1 year and a half. I looked everywhere for a cause and treatment from noFap to trt. I've seen countless doctors who all told me I'm fine and said it's al PA. After months of wait have been able to get an appointment with a good urologist that specialise in ED. He gave me an injection of trimex which only made me have a semi. He confirmed that I most likely have something physical. I'm going back this weekend to do the doppler ultrasound. I have to mention my T is also lowish for my age probably due to a varicocele. I have many questions, I just hope I won't have to get an implant but if that's the only way I will.
Guys here seems to have seen everything, I'm hoping I can learn a bit more about the next steps for me. Other boards where I'm menver often tends to use "pseudo-science" to explain ED and treatment... Seems like I will get more accurate answers here
Cheers

Re: Intro 26yo
clear0cn,
First, I am sorry you are having Togo through this at such a young age. My ED began at age 30. In the beginning I was told it was all in my head. It was frustrating because I knew it was not. I was put through every medication and test available. Over the years I probably saw a dozen doctors. None ever mentioned the Penile Doppler test until my current Urologist. That test finally confirmed what I believed all along, that I had Venous Leak.
It’s a shame that many doctors either lack knowledge in the area of ED or lack the feeling and compassion to help men find solutions. Many Drs seem more interested in prescribing pills or injections than determining the root problem. I hope you will get the help you need very soon.

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.
Re: Intro 26yo
Hi Greg, thanks for your encouragement. Yes it's a shame that most doctors do nothing their patient as if their ED problems are not worth their time. They truly underestimate the psychological distress that it can leave us. I wish I'll be able to recover the self-esteem I had before all that.
I'm confident that my new doctor will do his best to help me, I'm so glad to have found him!

I once talked with a guy with ED who told me that when he told his urologist that Viagra wasn't working for him, the doctor said, "That's all we've got" and told him to go home.
When he found out about all of the other options, man did he get mad at his doctor!
