Hello ChosenOne619, I had a $500 VED that had 2 black rubber rings. You only need 1 of the rings if you were blessed with a beer can penis, the 2nd rubber ring slipped inside the larger one for us more average width guys. All the rings had to be lubed up for the proper suction, so I glued the two rings together which saved me some time. It's sad to hear that you at 22 are dealing with ED. I waited too long to get my implant & so I lost length and some sensation due to diabetes. I feel for you, most of us have wives, I can't imagine how difficult it would be for a young guy and single dealing with ED. I didn't say it didn't work. I said it didn't work out. I had a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life. The implant remains functional, but I have never had any desire to use it. My wife lost interest before my stroke, so she's fine with it as well.

Hey vegasED yes it sucks to have ED at 22 years old thanks for the condolences. I was wondering how long it took you to set up and pump altogether. Also I was wondering if I kept the VED assembled and ready would it just become pumping and that's it. Can you explain. Thank you this site has been so helpful.

After pumping at least once a day for years my dick is NOT cold when I use a VED. If I use a tight restriction ring or two the tip is cooler than normal after 10 minutes or so. All those years of daily pumping have also darkened my dick. If using a restriction ring makes it darker the contrast is barely noticeable.

When I first starting using a VED the cold purple dick was something we put up with for the firmness that did not go down until the ring was off. Besides, by the time I am pumped up she has her blindfold on!

I realize that you've been given some responses that could be discouraging and suggest more difficulty than what is actual reality for most users. I fear you're overthinking this. Assembling the VED from unzipping the case to fully assembled really just takes a moment. There just isn't much to it. The actual pumping up takes longer but that varies from person to person and by experience.

I imagine there are decent women out there who would be willing to go ahead with the VED. I can't think I'm hopeless. Gotta keep a positive mind and they will be more willing. I'm reading tinder stories on Reddit and there are nice women who judge a man by his character , of course sex is important to them but suprisingly the world of hookup and dating might not be so cruel just as long as you dont have high standards and arent picky with women. thanks biodink

I never timed the set up & pumping, but you could be pumping in a few minutes. I incorporated the pumping while getting my wife ready. She told me that sometimes I'd pump myself up too much & it was uncomfortable for her. You may have to experiment with different size rings to see what size works best without the hinge effect. Again, I can see where this would be ackward for you with a date type situation. VegasED
