Based on over eight years of experience, I would say 30 minutes is the longest You should let the tension ban remain on your erection. I normally go for twenty minutes; however, I have gone as long as 30 minutes, but I did a lot of kegeling during this period to force in a little fresh blood. At the end of 30 minutes there was hardly any feeling left and it turned quite purple.

I don’t believe waiting 10 minutes or 60 minutes between VED usage makes any difference. However, if you use it too often it will cause bruising. I limit usage to 4 or 5 times a week (including occasional twice in an hour) and do not experience any bruising.

Oh well bruising isn't so bad if you apply erectaid 10 minutes after when you get the blood flowing again. I'm not worried about bruising maybe if you wear the sleeve that can help with it and even for the time worn but I will ask my urologist or nurse about it.

I have (only) used the elastic cock (constriction) rings that come with the Encore Impo-Aid VED units. They come in various sizes and I use different sizes at different times. One point I learned: I do not used a silicone lubricant with these rings, as they are made out of silicone and the silicone lube will degrade them and shorten their life. I use melted coconut oil as my lube and the rings last for months (and with frequent use).

I am new to this forum and I am hoping I can get some good advice. I use the Encore system and the rings that came with it.
The pump does give me a good erection but I am having big problems with leakage. The ring will not hold the blood in the penis
and if I go to a smaller ring, I am afraid it would give me alot of pain. I am using the size 4 ring, it just does not hold the blood
and I am starting to have doubts about the ring being the right size. How do you know if the right is right? Can I use 2 rings at
the same time? Is there another brand of ring that will work with the Encore system? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am 73 and been married 44 years, I would love to have good sex with my beautiful wife again.

The rings you have should work fine. As mentioned earlier in this thread many consider the Osbon brand rings to be the gold standard for use with medical grade VED's. Also, as mentioned earlier in the thread, some guys have to use 2 rings to maintain an erection. Either that or a smaller ring. Everybody is different so you'll have to figure that one out.

Have you considered injections?

new to this and trying to find something that will allow me to again have sex with my wife. I have not had any injections,
if that is an option I would have to go through the VA system and it would be a very lengthy process even if they would
allow me to have injections. I don't what what critera I would have to meet to qualify for the injections.

Osbon rings fit even better than some of the smaller supplied Encore rings.
I use a large high tension(pink) with a medium regular tension(beige).
I use a penile foam sleeve from U & Me Time to ease some of the discomfort from the rings.

When you use 2 Osbon rings which ring should be closer to the base of the penis, the high tension
or the medium tension? I have heard the Osbon rings tend to be smaller than most other rings, could
you help with this question? I used a size 4 Encore ring so I don't know which Osbun ring would be
comparable.

I try to put the medium ring closer to the base. I read somewhere the tighter of two rings should go toward the base of the penis. That just means I load it on the cylinder last. I have not really noticed much if any difference,

As far as a direct substitute for a #4 Encore ring I can't even guess.

Thank You again for all your help. I just placed an order for 2 Osbon rings, one larger and one medium.
I am anxious to see how things work and so is my beautiful bride. The one thing I have noticed since
pumping on a regular basis is there seems to be some growth, at least girth wise and I noticed my flaccid
penis seems to be "meatier". Maybe it's my lmagination but I don't think so. Thanks again, I will let you
