These are what I am using:

Easy Touch Insulin Grade 1/2cc x 31g x 5/16-100 count

$12.31 .. and free shipping no less .. (and you don't even need Amazon Prime -- the associate company is the one offering free shipping -- Prime Medical Store.

Since I only need 10 units .. and the syringe is marked every 5 .. it is nice and easy to get it right with those small amounts. ( I had been using .3ml syringes .. even better .. but they discontinued those on amazon),

About disposal, right now I have little bags all over the place full of used syringes. I like the coffee can idea for safe disposal that someone metioned in another thread.

I recommend the 1/2 inch needle. I had a few misses with the 5/16 inch needle. My flaccid girth is average to a bit under average and i never had a problem going all the way through. Once I feel the tension ease up as I pierce the cc wall, I stop pushing and start to inject. Assuming my flaccid girth is about 4 inches, that means my radius is about 0.65 inches - enough to handle a 1/2 inch needle without pushing through. Plus the 2 o'clock/10 o'clock position gives you a little more room to play with.

I am smaller flaccid and can tell you 1/2 won't go all the way through even injecting at 9 and 3.
good luck!

I thought the same thing when I first got my needles(3 years ago)but it was no problem. Mine are 1/2 long as well. I am small when its flacid and at first i use to only put it in half way but now I put it in all the way and its never a problem. It helps a lot to get some blood in there and get a little puffy first. Getting things a little hard before you inject also helps me see all the veins before I inject. Hitting them was my biggest problem in the begining.
Good luck.

Fun Fact: A toilett paper roll ( Scott ) measures slightly over 4.75 inches when cut lengthwise, flattened and measured. Accordingly, if you can not fit your flaccid dick all the way in you are above average. If your erection just makes it in, you are at the bottom of the average range.

I find it simple after use to just bend the needle back a couple of time until it snaps off, if necessary the needle can be put into the syringe or disposed off easily leaving no danger for others.
Healthy 70yo used injectibles for 20 odd years, Alprostadil, Caverject and now a variation of bimix.
