Hi Everbody! Today I'm feeling better even though I had a bad night which was not related to the surgery. Blood glucose kept dropping and every time I fell asleep, I would do one of the jerk awake
spasms. Wearing a condom to prevent more tip irritation. Have been keeping penis in a sling made of paper medical tape. Tape is the 2 inch wide kind. I fold it in half lengthwise so I'm not sticking to tape, then I form a loop in it the is snug around my penis. More tape at the sides keeps it tight. Then I use another longer strip to secure it on both sides to my abdomen. I have a loosely rolled washcloth between my penis and abdomen that maintains a comfortable angle. My penis is pumped up so much that I could actually penetrate if the wife and I were trying to make love. Medical resident says that it is completely deflated. I sure hope it will look less erect. I think it is partially pumped up. I plan on staying flat on my back again today as much as it sucks. I'm starting to be able to really get a grip on the pump. My scrotum is still swollen, nut is coming down the more I stay laying down. That's all for now guys. I'll update again tomorrow.

Hi guys, I'm feeling much better this morning. Think I'm over the hump so to say but still looking forward to it. Sorry, I'm a sick man. Dr. Montague just called to check on me. Like I told him, scrotum swelling is way down. I can actually feel the inflate bulb and the deflate button. Still hurts to really try to check it all out. Discoloration is going away. Tough part is keeping it taped to abdomen. I have three young daughters, so you can imagine how strange it can be. I might try driving tomorrow. That's all for now.

Well, day 5 with my implant. I woke feeling as though nothing had happened to my manparts. Then I walked downstairs and tried to pee. Oh well, can really only describe what I'm feeling as discomfort. Only an occasional Tylenol 325 for it. Most of the swelling and discoloration are gone. Scrotum seems to be nearly back to pre-testosterone size but the pump makes it feel as though I have a lead weight in my nutsac. Still too early to say how it will feel in use and all healed up. I was hoping my scrotum would respond this way to the pump. It was way to balled up and retracted due to testicular atrophy. Was causing my penis to stick straight out. Now, hopefully, it will hang like it used to. All I can say guys, from my experience, flat on the back or in a recliner is the way to stay. Dont try to do anything, noatter how good you feel. Let your body heal. It seems that Dr. Montague placed my pump way to the back of my scrotum. Nice and long too, so I will look normal again, not lime a cold 6 yr old boy. More tomorrow.

Not sure what happened to yesterday's update. Anyways, got a question for all of you, what do three washcloths and a jockstrap make? Answer: only the best night of sleep yet. I bought a larger than necessary UnderArmour jock from, you got it, Dicks. The pouch is not the waffled kind. It's soft and smooth. One washcloth is folded in half then in thirds. It lays under my penis. The other two are rolled up and taped and lay alongside my upward pointed penis. Then, pull the jock up and carefully nestle the testicles in the pouch. Pull the jock up as high as it will go. Have a good night and a great day. Loose boxer briefs now work great. My regular shorts and a long shirt keep everything hidden. Almost no pain today. Just occasional burning from scar. My scrotum has returned to it's pretestosterone size. Was all shrunk up due to testicular atrophy from testosterone replacement. The pump acts like a huge testicle, causing scrotum to relax out. Feels like the old me. Only difference is that the pump has more weight than my testicles ever did. I will update more on my one week anniversary.

Wow! Can hardly believe I've had my implant for a full week. Feeling really good today. Drove downtown today for an appointment with another doc. Was sore when I arrived, so my wife drove on the way home. The incision is only stinging a bit. I'm getting used to the pump in my scrotum. Played with it for a while when I woke up at 2 am. Finally found the deflate button. Kind of hard to feel through the skin. Gave the pump a tiny squeeze, not enough to activate it. Darn thing is difficult to not have slip out of the fingers. Very resistant to squeezing. Dr. Montague implanted the smaller option pump because of my scrotum size. I guess the pump bulb is small. The "block" part of it feels massive, like a lead weight. It is very far back in my scrotum. I can imagine it will bang around a bit like my testicles used to during sex. The little bit of pain I had felt in my right groin from the reservoir being passed through the inguinal canal was gone by day 4. On to week 2.

Rice stuffed socks guys! Long athletic socks with uncooked white rice. You want the rice to be fairly packed on the sock, but not so much that you can't form it. Tie the end, toss in a big Zip Loc bag and throw in the freezer. Make several of the, you will really enjoy the cooling(or heating in a microwave - about 2 mins) when the pain or the itching get bad.

Lots of itching today, but other than that, I feel great. Hard to find a comfortable place to sit, so the recliner works best. The itching is the deep internal kind, along the cylinders and pump. I've always been told that itching is a sign of healing. Itch away! Onward and upward, but mostly upward.

Nothing much to report. Feeling really goo except for a little stinging sensation along the scar and the itching. Frozen rice bags are the answer. Sitting is still difficult and trying to get legs really close together can be a problem. Actually hurt myself getting up from the backyard lawn swing in backyard last night. Best friend from Brasil called to check on me. That's all for now.

Absolutely nothing to report. Went for a long walk at the beach then a nice hard fall. Friend walking with me had to help me up. Kind of hurt my penis when I went down, but no damage. Drove stick shift without any issues. Still getting used to the feel of the pump. Anybody know how to deflate an AMS? Mine has the pump above the block. Can't seem to find a deflate button.
