Hell everyone,
I am 45 yrs old and in excellent health, on TRT and 5mg daily cialis. I have suffered from Ed from Day 1, although when I am in a long-term relationship, the cialis and TRT have worked 90% of the time. In the past, I have given Hypnotherapy, and psychotherapy a go without much improvement. The TRT and Cialis have really enhanced my morning erections, so I am confident my issue is in my head.
I am experiencing BHP from the TRT and take Uroxatral for that condition from time to time. My Ed is 80% Psychogenic and 20% physical IMO. I am considering Trimix as the answer to my persistent ED issues. I'm hoping the trimix is my answer. Has anyone had similar experiences or be willing to suggest a different path? Much thanks in advance...

Re: Psychogenic ED
TRT means Testosterone Replacement Therapy?
You mention "since Day 1". Day 1 of what? Surgery? Puberty? 2012?
Not trying to be smartass, just trying to get a picture of where you are.
In general, I think every case of ED has a psychological component. Even if the root cause is organic or physical, repeated failure to achieve an erection works a number on any man's head. That being said, the fact that you're finding some success with what you have tried suggests to me that your ED symptoms are caused in no small way from physical issues.
I'm a great believer in trimix injections. I have good success for over 18 months after 3 years of agonizing failures. So yes, it's worth a try.

Re: Psychogenic ED
To clarify: Testosterone Replacement Therapy at 100mg's twice a day.. and since Day 1 meant since becoming sexually active. I am calling my urologist for a Trimix 'scrip today. The forum is a tremendous source of hope for me, thank you all!
Re: Psychogenic ED
Great! Let us know how it goes with the Trimix!
Best wishes for hard times,

Re: Psychogenic ED
this is merlin - Fonz67 replied taking Testosterone 100mg's twice daily....YIKES !! that's way too much! ....at best 200mg's every 10 days for some men, but even that may be too much for some. We are all different is how we matabolize and react to drugs...be careful. Most men do very well with 200mg's twice monthly and get regular tetosterone blood levels for management. Psycological issues....yes, can interfer with a mans ability to not only attain, but more importantly sustain a rigid erection. This "state" of mind can occur at any age level. Purely psycological only cases can be tough to manage. You all seem to mention "tri-mix" as the answer....well, there is also the "bi-mix" answer and strickly papaverine alone to work with. In some men who are sensitive to injections, this solution may turn into a disaster ! .....priapism!!! This can be avoided with a good knowledgable clinician familair with this condition and what to do about it. good luck merlin
