Should I get a pump?
I’ve been recommended to get a pump by a specialist after I was found to have a venous leak. How effective are these in restoring erectile function and are they easy to use? I’d be grateful for any advice as I’m slightly confused and overwhelmed.

You can try The Encore Pump.......I find it very effective. Easy to use.....comes in brown bag. See my post reply about The Encore Pump. Or you can Google it. For me, it's much better and more effective than the Prick in the Dick.
Yes it's mechanical to use (boring for foreplay), but you control everything from Start to Finish. Drawback....You are limited to about 30 minutes in the honey hole. Blood flow thing. Good luck.

I have used the Erecaid pump (manual version) for a number of years and I've been very satisfied with it. You can find a link on the lower left of this page to a Frank Talk supporter where you can purchase that brand.

With a constriction band they allow penetrative sex because, once you (vacuum) pump an erection, the ring can keep it. But restoring natural function, not at all.
However, they can keep penile tissues healthy and elastic when used judiciously. The nocturnal erections men get keep flushing oxygen-rich blood through those tissues and stretch the tissues to maintain size. A vacuum pump can (at least partially) substitute for that. This is important to prevent atrophy.

Re: Should I get a pump?
Why is the specialist recommending a pump?
If it is for exercise/rehab purposes then there is probably no need to shell out 100 or more dollars.
A good medical grade pump, while costing more, can be used for both penetrative sex and for exercise. My experience has been the
medical grade pumps are a lot more durable.
There is a learning curve and the key is to take it slow and have patience.
As to your question, "Should I get a pump?", I think every man should own at least one.

+1 for the Encore Impo-Aid pump (battery version) with associated constriction rings. Have used one for years. Have various sizes of rings. Use coconut oil lube. Keep pubic hair trimmed to ensure tight seal and easier removal of ring. After 30 minutes of use, remove the ring, wait 5 minutes, then repump. Can go all afternoon like that.
