Danny - shortening is minor. In my case, I'm back to 7", the best I ever was. This is 16 months after surgery, and I try to pump fully several times a week, that is a key with the LGX.
The second consideration is that the implant feels bigger than it looks. Meaning, a normal penis will yield some length and width under pressure, the pressure of being inserted into another body. Push on a rope and you'll get what I mean. Very few men ever have erections as rigid as the implant. Put you hand on the head of an erect penis and push, I'll bet it doesn't take much force to make it get shorter. And, generally, the girth increases with an implant. I know one thing, my wife tells me I'm bigger to her than I've ever been, including 40 years ago, and more recently when using other methods of getting an erection. Put those concerns aside. They really aren't worth worrying about if your doc does his job well. Mine did.
