Steve,
Yeah if you got a gut and is hard to see what you are doing, maybe you are not hitting the spot very well.
Not sure what advice to give on that except that when you got the needle all the way in where you think it should be, it should NOT take a lot of pressure on the syringe plunger to inject the fluid. If it does take a lot of pressure (do a test injection 'into the air' using plain water -- that is how much pressure you should need) then you are in tissue and not in the Corpus C.
When i inject I don't hold it out straight i bend it over flat to one side or the other and inject that way -- like using your pubic bone like a operating table! But if you have fat pad that might not work either.
How long would it take you to lose the gut?? Then you might have an easier time??
Well, try the plunger pressure thing first and see how that goes .... also I don't JAB it in quick ... i work it in reallll slowww and ... well it is not as excruiating as it sounds ... no pain really .. but you know you are in the right spot cause the needle goes and the resistance reduces when you go thru into the Corpus C.
But that feel is less precise than the plunger being hard or easy feel ... so go with the plunger feel the first time.
AND if the plunger feels way too difficult, you can try continuing to push the needle in more (dimple into the skin even) and try pressing plunger again and see if it feels easier. Always works for me.

You have no idea how hard I've tried to loose my gut specifically and weigh in general, 6' and 250 lbs. It started when an Army Doctor let my appendix burst at 19, then proceeded to do a vertical incision about 10" long to dump everything out to get rid of infection. That weakened my abdomen wall. Then having sedentary jobs that go for about 12-14 hours a day for the last 40 years. I"m not saying I don't like to eat. That's probably what got the diabetes started. Even when I was on Cardiac rehab and doing 1-2 miles of walking and 5 miles of cycling all at a fast clip every other day, I only lost 5 lbs in 3 months. I lost 8 lbs in 2 weeks with some dental surgery, so I know where it's coming from, I just can't find the balance between what I need to eat to live, the insulin and diabetes pills and not going into shock. I had an Army Nurse, that was a dietician, tell me that I was malnurished and dehydrated this was 15 years after the appendix deal. I said "you've got to be kidding, look at this 34 inch gut", she replied "look at starving kids in Africa, they have the same physical characteristics".
So here I am.

Trimix has been a lot better for me than Alprostadil for sure, but not a guaranteed success every time. I use 50 units too, and stay hard about 15 minutes, then it goes away.
Yes, you might consider losing some belly, makes seeing what you're doing a lot easier!! Good luck.
