Pump
Re: Pump
For some, probably. I'm over a year out and I still use both hands, for a couple of reasons:
1. The early presses are fairly soft with a well used pump, but to get really hard, all the way to max, it's the pressure of the fluid you're pumping against, not just the sides of the pump. The last few pushes get pretty hard again and require more pressure. You don't want the pump to slip out of your fingers, bang hard into one nut and have your strongly pinching fingers land on the other nut. Ouch!
2. If my sack isn't very loose, for whatever reason, it's easier to move the pump to the right position and keep it there with the "off hand". I can be fresh out of the hot tub, loose and low hanging, but when arousal hits, it all starts to pull in and get ready.
YMMV.

Re: Pump
I can use one hand quite easily, but it’s subject to the position of hand to pump. The easiest way I can explain it is I am pulling down on the pump to hold it in place while pumping. If I do not hold it that way it is not easy to do.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.
Re: Pump
I started cycling on Day 4, using only one hand. Never tried or needed to use two since then. I guess the pump hangs low enough in the scrotum its not an issue for me.
56. RARP for prostate cancer in Feb. 17, then no-go with pills, injections, vacuum, so here I am. Titan 20cm by Dr. Eid on 8/6/19, cycling on Day 4, stitches out Day 14, sex with a grateful wife on Day 20. And 21, 22, 23, etc.
Re: Pump
I have arthritis in my right thumb. Though I am right handed, I can inflate only with my left hand. Not a problem. Also.....several of my more adventurous girls pump it for me. Hmmmm....within the last six hours, actually.....but I digress.... One even learned how to deflate me. (Physically...mentally, girls have been deflating me for decades)!
It all of it gets better with time! Good luck!
