Hello,
I'm Strelets, I'm from Belgium and, as everyone here, I've started having erectile problems. It started after my divorce 3 years ago (I'm 44 now) and I sometimes managed to have a normal erection in some situations, but the stress caused by said divorce, the emotional issues for the kids and myself and an increased workload usually make short work of any attempt at this.
Before I go to see someone, I wanted to know what exactly was happening and how I could start dealing with it... I think the reason might be psychological, but I do not have the slightest once of trust for psychologists, as my wife, lids and myself sometimes had to visit them for different reasons, and they all more or less showed that they were absolute quacks whi ould not provide any sort of actual help.
So, I figured I should ask a community, and I couldn't find an active one in the French or Flemish language, so I searched in English and here I am!
I hope that I'll find a way out of this situation and that everyone else here will as well.
Thanks in advance and have a nice day!

Re: Strelets checks in
Strelets, many of us are sharing and learning about ED as a result of our prostates being removed. We are very educated in the use of PED5s (viagra, cialis, etc), injections (trimix, etc), as well as implants. I don't know if you're ready for all we to offer in this area. I will offer two other websites for you to read and contribute to (1) Healthcare.com, look up Erectile Dysfunction community (2) Inspire.com.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Re: Strelets checks in
The psychological and physical interact with each other, sometimes with positive results and sometimes negative. In my view, the first thing to do is rule out physical issues. For example, if you have a venous leak that is gradually getting worse, this can cause actual physical problems. When your mind notices the lack of erection, the anxiety from that can then make things worse. Accordingly, my first suggestion is to find a urologist who specializes in sexual issues and get testing done. If the urologist rules out physical causes, perhaps he can suggest a psychologist who specializes in sexual issues. In addition, use of PDE5 inhibitors such as Viagra can sometimes provide such a good erection that the impact of the psychological issues is reduced.
