What the * * * K

Postby clearwatercowboy » Fri Oct 01, 2010 12:37 am

I finally got a chance to get on the chatroom tonight, and a couple of guys were on there. They asked questions about why I was there, etc, I told one of them about having had prostate surgery, having no erections 18 months post-surgery,......... and they hung up on me. Hard to figure that one out. I thought this forum and chatroom was a place to try to share ideas and help each other. Have I been completely wrong about this all of these months that I have been reading and supporting others on this forum ?
Anyway, Hey "Thomas".......sorry, Dude, did not mean to offend you. Thought you were intersted in what was happening with me. Guess I know better now !!

Dallas,
It's really normal to assume that when something happens online, it has to do with us - or we're sure something happened in response to us. The fact is, it is almost never about us. There are a million reasons why someone could have left abruptly. For example, I have kids and either they need help with something or they are talking to me and I hide or close the screen. guys often must wonder what happened. Why would someone leave you hanging? It definitely has nothing to do with you. I know where Thomas lives, his area is getting hit with that huge storm - high winds and torrential rain. anything could have happened, including power outages, etc. So, sorry you felt you were left hanging on purpose, the guys here really do support each other a lot. Life in chat rooms is like that often.

Dallas, sorry you had a hang up...That happens sometimes usually not because of something you asked. Also sometimes when we sign in there is no one in the chat room and we just stay signed on. Move to another screen and looking at other stuff jumping back from time to time to check if someone is in the room. With the new board we can now hear if we have the sound on if someone has entered the room.

Buy the way I am in a very similar boat with you I am just shy of 2 years open Radical. Limpy works with injectiions. So far at least that is good.

Sorry you had a problem. Dont give up on us.

Also something to be aware of is that sometimes this chat program kicks everyone out for no apparent reason. I usually get a "timeout" error of some kind.

I'm relatively new in this forum as well, but none of the guys here have ever been rude or unkind in any way. I am certain that there was no intent to offend you....

Give it another try.

Dallas,

Sorry that you think you've been hung up on! I actually was traveling out of town all week and do usually check Frank Talk at the end of each evening and I believe I did for most of the days this past week. However, I do not recall chatting with anyone this week! Sorry that this happened.

Hey Thomas,

I'm sorry that I thought that you had hung up, now I realize, thanks to all the other guys helping me to understand, that the system will do that occasionally.

I hope to get a chance to chat on the chatroom at another time.

Hey Jeff,
I spoke on the phone with Sonny the other night, and he shared we me all of the festivities that went on in Hilton, NY. It sounds as though you 6 had a great time, and I wish I could have been there.

Maybe a Lousianna get together will work, if I know far in advance when it will be happening.

Take Care
