Hey guys,
Today, Dec. 10, 2019, I am taking the plunge (again). Made my title as specific as possible so I can search it quickly.
I am in a unique situation, as I am doing a salvage (surgery this past Aug. was messed up)/revision (pump placement was too high)/replacement (AMS to Titan).
Thanks to all who have gone on before me. Some great info was gathered. I thought I did my homework with the 1st surgery, but reading from actual guys who went through it helped sort things out for me.
I am pretty sure this journal will help someone else down the line with questions on what to expect and how to go about it, or even ask the Dr. questions:).
Will be posting pics right after surgery (seriously doubt it, as I will be in pain, but brought my laptop, just in case, this desktop will not cut it).
Since situation is unique, my questions run along the lines of:
Will this 2nd go 'round recovery be easier or harder
and most importantly, when can I use my new toy (expensive toy, but nevertheless)!
After all is said and done, 5-6 months of no use (does self luv count?), I am eager to get back into the swing of things:)!

Re: Agfa13- My Journal
Sorry you have had to go through all that. I hope this time around everything goes perfectly, you recover easily, and you love your new very expensive toy. Best wishes!

Re: Agfa13- My Journal
As you can see by my profile I too needed a second implant. It wasn't any worse or better than the first one. Pain is pain and we all tolerate it differently. But you should be fine, you have a great doctor, that is a leg up for sure. Believe me, this is well worth it!!! I would do it again if I have too, but I do pray I won't need to. So go thru the motions, you'll be back in the saddle in no time.
74, retired. Implant Dec 2014 Dr. Dean Knoll Nashville TN, RPS March 2014. Implant failure July 2017 Revision Oct 2017, First Implant AMS 700 LGX 19CM, Revision AMS 700 MS 21CM. Feel free to PM me anytime. Will show and tell 37129.
Re: Agfa13- My Journal
Best wishes Agfa. You are one of the most suportive ones here.
And I am, as you, one of those 'lucky' man inside the minimal percentage of not so success stories.
I hope a happy end for both of us.

Best wishes for a speedy re-recovery. Hope it is pain free and easy.

Re: Agfa13- My Journal
Thanks for the well wishes guys:)!
Had surgery yesterday, but got the bad news from Kramer that it was an infection, so I now have the Rigicon advertised on here. 2nd Dr. also said it was an infection and was going to put in the Rigicon, but he was out of the country after our initial consult that he referred me to Kramer...same outcome:(
I was told by Kramer that there was really no way to know what is happening until he goes in, and unfortunately, it was an infection (remember, I said I was one of the lucky 3%). He flushed the heck out of everything and cleaned me up, but he had to put in the Rigicon. Have not read much on here about malleable implants, so will definitely update on outcome, and recovery should be much shorter after the follow up in 4 weeks (have no idea why so long, but he is the Dr, lol)
Attached a pic of me in supporter with catheter hanging out. Have to have my buddy take another pic today of me minus catheter, and me in my birthday suit. I have yet to see my balls, and I am glad I have them back, lol.
I was given meds for the pain, and just have to ride some things out. Ice is my friend:)

Re: Agfa13- My Journal
You did it and you are in good spirits so it sounds! Congratulations!! Curious to see how this recovery is different than your first. You’ve been through the ringer, but as you know - it’s all with it. Keep us posted, wishing you a speedy and successful recovery! Ice!
56 years old. Botched Titan implant 21cm 11/13/19. San Antonio by Dr. Sammy Vick. ED 14 years/Peyronies. Revision by Laurence Levine Chicago January 2021.
Re: Agfa13- My Journal
Remember guys, this is the malleable one, so this would be interesting, as everyone on here seems to have the 3 piece, whereas I have the one piece. I will definitely let you all know about how doing the nasty is going
Buddy came home, had him take these pics...glad I have my balls back, lol
Still sensitive, so I am not touching anything! That incision looks bad!

Re: Agfa13- My Journal
I hope it goes for well. Is not there any chance to have a 3 piece in the future?
