"Generic" Viagra, Cialis and Levitra

Postby PDE5Man » Sun Jul 26, 2009 10:36 pm

Please let me tell you where I'm coming from. Have dealt with erection problems in one form and another most of my life. My erection problems don't stem from Prostate Cancer but from coronary/artery disease which led to Valve replacement several years ago. Avoided Viagra when it first came out because of the early problems with guys who were taking certain blood pressure meds and/or nitrates (something got in my head because I've never taken either). When Cialis came on the market I finally "talked to my doctor" and got a script for it. Also have a script for Levitra. As you know, insurance isn't real helpful when it comes to paying for these meds - what price hardon? - so I've been scouting the web for "generics" and was wondering if anyone has some suggestions based on experience (hoping I won't have to take a course in speaking Indian)... thanks, Rob

Rob, many guys I know who are battling ED from prostatectomy use www.alldaychemist.com. There has been no reported problems with safety, effectiveness of the drugs and such. Generic Viagra (sildenafil citrate) is available there for .54 cents or so per pill, after the 2 for 1 deal. Shipping is $24.95 from India. Leverta generic is also available, as is generic Cialis, but it is not normally imported into the US because of legal issues. There is a slight chance of interception of the pills by customs, but I haven't heard of any in the last 6 months or so. AllDay will replace the pills for the cost of shipping or sometimes for free. A while back , during the worse of the financial meltdown, they were having problems charging Visa cards, and were asking for money orders, personal check or other options. I think that issue is fixed now. We have had multiple dozens of satisfied customers in our group. Hope this helps.

James, thanks buddy. Please don't get me wrong because I really appreciate your Reply. But I have to knit-pick about one thing you said referring to "generic" Cialis and/or Levitra having legal issues. None of the so-called "generic" PDE-5 Inhibitors is legal. We're probably talking about India in the majority of cases (I do have a friend who brings me "generic" Viagra from Mexico) and some of the drug companies in India manufacture a lot of the generic (genuine) medications we use daily - particularly some of the antibiotics. And they're fully approved by the FDA. But Pfizer, in the case of Viagra has had an on-going battle with Ranbaxy (in India) who produce a "generic" Viagra under the name of Caverta (it's actually more popular in India than genuine Viagra). Ranbaxy claims that they're not "infringing" on Pfizer's patent because they claim the main ingredient, Sildenafil, is not under patent and that it's the process thats protected and not the ingredient. So they manufacture the stuff differently from Pfizer - they claim. Anyway, I've tried Caverta and so far - like all the Sildenafil-based meds that I've tried - don't work for me (maybe it's the empty-stomach thing?). I have a company I'm using right now and I like and trust them business-wise but I'm not sure their "generic" Cialis uses Tadalafil which is the main ingredient in Cialis. For one thing I get nosebleeds from both Cialis and Levitra (not uncommon particularly since I'm on Coumadin) but with the generics that doesn't happen. But my main concern when it comes to genuineness is that, yes, they definitely improve my erections but the quality isn't nearly as good as genuine Cialis or Levitra (both produce at least some "wood").
Again, please don't think I'm being ungrateful or disrespectful and for God's sake please keep talking - I need your advice... rob

Larry, these days you don't need a scrip for the majority of these sites. It used to be that the "generic" dealers would put us through a process described as a "consultation" with a "real" doctor. The process usually consisted of fairly innocuous questions (nothing embarrassing) re your general health and your erections (remember when that word alone was cause for embarrassment?), Then they would hit you with a "consultation fee - $$$$". They finally wised up and realized this hassle was not "profit-friendly") and now it's really unusual to have any kind of "consultation" - certainly not an additional fee".
There is a site (if you want more info I'll look it up) that does sell the genuine article and they do have a fairly thorough consultation process (they verify your age through your drivers license and they take your SS Number). The meds are shipped out of Florida from a real drugstore. But their prices are enough to make you ask yourself exactly how badly you "need" an erection and decide that maybe that flimsy thing you managed to come up with last time might have been adequate after all.
For the "generics" these days you don't need a prescription.

Interesting info and thanks. I've been told when I go up for my surgery (Aug. 12th) They will give me the pills to start on a penile rehab plan after the cath is removed. I was told that I can get those I believe as samples at the hospital pharmacy until we figure out which ones I can best tolerate. I had to laugh or cringe when I read that I will have penile rehabilitation since I've never had an issue in that department. I am very concerned that they might have to take the one nerve though. I have 5 biopsy samples that came back at 7.
3 of them at 4+3 and 2 at 3+4. The 4+3's are currently scaring me. I have been told you can 'function' on one nerve but just dread that what if's since I'm currently 54. Will be 55 in September.

Rob, sorry for being obtuse about it. I thought that guys reading it would figure that it's not exactly legal to get import drugs in the US by mentioning the Customs interception of any of the generic's. the legality of them getting thru customs is another story. Yes, you are right, all of them are subject to confiscation by Customs for not being legal import drugs, but one difference is that AllDay will not ship the generic Cialis because it is not allowed to be shipped by they. If you state you are not gonna use it in the US, they will even ship that. They had a doctors info. box on their order site last time I ordered and they gave you the option of listing your own doctor and his prescription or to use their own and just give them the info about the drugs itself. The whole transaction is in English and using the latest in secure transactions software.

As mentioned in my introduction a few minutes ago, I've used all 3 pill types. The best source for me is free samples from my Dr. If your Dr. won't give them to you, find a new Dr.

I currently use powdered tadalafil (Cialis) that is mixed with Everclear to make liquid Cialis. I've gotten mine from www.elitenetpharmacy.com, but they are in the process of being sold, so I bought 8 grams at their close-out price just before the end of last year. I don't know if they're still in business, but a couple of other (more costly) outfits I've purchased liquid Cialis from are:
http://aquachem3230.yolasite.com/
http://www.chemoneresearch.com/product.php?id=MTU
Both provided a good product and fast service, so they may be worth your checking out.
There are other sites for generic V, L & C that I can provide if you want. These are from a group I belong to:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/hypogonadism2/
I don't have any connection with any of these sites; I'm only a customer of theirs.
