Could you please clarify what exactly was not appealing? And much of the size difference that is noticeable - length or girth?

Thank you

Well Danny,
I had to get her to kind of explain what she meant. This is how she explained the difference. My implant erection is smaller both in length and girth (6"x 5.5"). She just personally liked the way it looked when it was bigger before my injury (8"x 6"), but that she finds my new size much more comfortable. She jokingly tells me, "Now I can honestly say I've had two different penises".
I don't want to give the impression that this loss in size came from the implant. We're talking about what happens to a penis after ten years of no erections. If I would have known about penile rehab, believe me instead of watching junior shrivel up I would have had my guy in VED tube everyday instead once or twice a month or whenever I could convince my wife. She hated it... she would much rather have oral sex than intercourse with a swollen spongy penis, which is what would happen with the VED. Believe me according to her she is "SUPER HAPPY" now! Me too. ;)

I have never had a catheter and this is giving me great anxiety. I am rather small and thin and have this fear of them stuffing a large cather up my penis. I am going to go from surgery to local hotel for a few days-I know they want me to return the next morning to remove the catheter which has been described as very painful-will the catheter be attatched to a bag? I have this fear of walking into the hotel all drugged up carrying my urine bag and getting all kinds of looks. I know I am being a drama queen but that is what is going on in my mind-please inform me what to expect.

Haven't had the implant surgery, yet. Did have a radical prostatectomy in February of 2000. Catheter isn't that large, but large enough. You may get the leg strapped bag, it holds the bag onto the side of your leg under your pants.

Catheters are not fun but the aren't that bad, and for me at least, post RP didn't hurt at all but did feel strange, like a worm crawling out. Hopes that helps your fears.

When they pulled my catheter at the Drs. office two weeks after my RP surgery, I was very nervous about it. When I asked the nurse if it was going to hurt, she said it might hurt a little but that it would be for just a second or two. She was correct, when she pulled it out, I was was like, Ow, oh, and that was it. I felt it for a second, not really pain per se, then it was over. Really a piece of cake. I would not stress over it.

Well it will be 5 months on Wednesday since my implant. My wife and I are very happy with the results. I continue to inflate twice a day for an hour I usually inflate at bedtime and an hour before I get up in the morning. I inflate until it won't pump anymore or until I feel discomfort... The instructions from AMS say to do it for six months, but I'll continue as long as I continue to see growth. I have gone from about 5.5 length 8 weeks post op to 6.75 today. Girth has continued to stay at 5.5 since about 8 weeks post op when it jumped from about 5" after I heard a pop and felt some pain while inflating. I think I have maxed out on girth, but lengthening continues. It seems that everyday I can pump a little more. I wish I had measured ealier on. I'm including these details in order to keep those AMS LGX guys motivated who feel they didn't get all the length they should have. First thing to do is find out what size implant you received so that you have a realistic idea what to expect. My doc told me that I got a 21 cm implant. I figured maybe 6.25", but continue to exceed my expectations. I am including a couple of pics. I say keep inflating everyday as much as you can stand
