Surgery pushed back to 9:30 a.m. central time tomorrow, so will get to the hospital abour 8 am. Should be home by 1 or 2 pm with my new toy. Taking my first Cipro tonight and antiseptic body wash. Excited, but not nervous. I think having the AUS implant 2 years ago helps. It was similar, but with that I had an incision under my scrotum, which was very sore for a couple of weeks. In this case, he is going in above the penis on my abdomen. I'm hopeful I can be moving around in a day or two.

Will post tomorrow afternoon after I'm home. :D

Just got back home from hospital. All went well; however due to scaring he was only able to put in one tube. Sounds bad, but he said it will be just fine. It looks OK, so visually when partilly limp, I can't tell. I feel good and lying with an ice pack on.

Has anyone else heard of only one side of the implant being done???

Have been dozing mostly, but pain is not bad. Got up and walked around some. Device is partially inflated and looks pretty good. No catheter and no bandaging on penis, just on the incision. So far, so good. :D

Stopped the pain pills rhis morning as I really don't need them. Very little pain. Swelling is the main issue and I've been using ice. Now seeing a lot of brusing too. Looking forward to a warm bath and my first shower tomorrow.

Day 10 post-op now. Most of swelling has gone down. Through this whole adventure, I've had very little pain; however the swelling and bruising was severe. Anxious for my 2 week checkup on Tuesday.
