young_and_impotent,
The information in my post may help you solve your problem:
https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14380
From my post, the most pertinent information:
The key piece of equipment that has made using water so effective is a "cushion ring". It's allowed me to get a good fit, a good vacuum seal, greatly increase comfort, and the properly sized opening of the cushion ring prevents my scrotum and testicles from being sucked into the vacuum chamber at high vacuum pressure. Without a cushion ring, I would not have achieved such impressive results.
https://bathmatedirect.com/products/cushion-rings - I recommend these or something like them. Pick a pair with 2 different size openings that will most closely fit you, both flacid and erect. I only use one cushion ring at a time, picking the one with an opening that most closely matches the current diameter of my penis.

Questions:
1. Is it safe to use a VED post-IPP surgery?
2. Have you discussed this subject with your physician?
3. Has the VED enlarged your glans?
I would very much like to have a response from you on these questions.
Please send me a message as well as post your answers on this thread. I don't check all the threads on the forum very often so I may not read your response if you simply post it.
