Cost of implant without insurance

How much does it cost to get an implant paying completely out of pocket? I'm sure amounts can greatly vary but is there at least a range one could expect to pay with someone like Kramer or Eid or Perito?

It depends on the doctor and the location (hospital) of the surgery.

I read somewhere Dr. Karpman lists the total cost at $19,000 for him. Which is the whole Shebang.

I would assume it can be between 19 - 30,000 dollars.

What country do you live in?
This falls into basically 2 catagories. Most American doctors accept Medicare. It is my understanding that the Medicare rate is around $17000 USD. Now bear in mind, that might go up based upon what city/state your doctor is located in.
I've been lead to belive that Kramer & Karpman charge in the range of $19000 to the lower $20000's range. A lot depends on where the sugery is preformed. Not all hospitals or sugery centers cost the same.
If the doctor doesn't accept the Medicare rate. Then they can charge whatever they want.

I just had an implant January 9, 2020. I have Medicare and am 67 yrs old. My total bill was $69,000. Medicare paid $55,000. My secondary insurance was billed the remainder $14,000 which they paid. My implant did not cost me a cent out of pocket.

I’m not on Medicare and my insurance has an exclusion clause.
Mine was 26K with surgeon, hospital, staff, anesthesiologist and a 90 day follow up visit included. Top tier surgeon in Northern Virginia. If you have to pay you can get a tax exemption for ALL of your medical costs for the year less the equal of the first 10% of your income.

Spoke to my Insurance agent about out of state procedures and his feedback was that it is not an easy thing to get an insurance company to do out of network even WITHIN the home state let alone outside of it. Also mentioned the deductibles were sky high with that type of coverage. Almost makes more sense to just pay out of pocket.

You need to do one more step. Your true tax savings will be $15K times your marginal tax rate. An example, if your tax rate for your last $1K of income is 20%. You would theoretically net $15K times the 20%. So a savings of $3K on your bottom line tax bill.
A tax person might be able to show you some better ways to use that deduction. I'm not up on the new tax code. Under the old rules. If you wanted to make a charitable contribution? If your "business" made it. Then it was 100% deductible. If you made it, you had to apply the exempted portion first. Basically following the scenario that I described. Again, a tax person should be brought on board before you proceed. He'll earn his fee.

It isn’t just your surgery costs. Once you meet the 10% full tax obligation, the remainder of all of you medical expenses - implant surgery + dental and vision costs, + all prescription out of pocket expenses - everything. It adds up. You can even deduct travel expenses back and forth to the Dr. office / hotel. The deduction will end up being a lot more than just the implant costs. I agree it is better to invest a couple hundred dollars for a tax expert consultant to maximize the amount.

Anything cost related to this implant, travel, consult, etc. can run you anywhere from 20K to 35K. Now, that is assuming you are not one of the lucky ones to NOT to get an infection and have to pay again to get it redone.
Not being pessimistic, just realistic.
Last year, if I had no insurance, mind you I was one of the lucky 3% to get an infection, total costs would have been in the realm of 70k+ here in Maryland (2 surgeries)
Just save all your receipts once you make the decision to move forward. You never know what you can deduct on your taxes next year.
