Not to be a drag but what exactly about that pubmed from 2010 do you find encouraging.

If I was a young guy that had ED issues that found nothing worked to help me, it would be interesting enough to wonder if I should wait before having penile implant surgery.

There's no doubt that the next generation of men will have more reliable and less invasive options for treating ED then we do. Can't help but be envious. Avanafil is already out but it's stupid expensive. About $32 a pill.
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

Stendra (Avanafil) is basically the same as Viagra and has been around since 2012.

Excellent article, lots of great info. Zoraxel trials have been discontinued, I contacted Rexahn a few years ago. Fasudil seems interesting but it's not approved in the US or Europe.
Age 40. Psychogenic ED for over 20 years. Current regimen: Udenafil 200 mg, oral phentolamine mesylate 40 mg, Seredyn.
