introduction

Postby oifsps » Wed May 09, 2012 12:56 am

I'm in my mid 40s and from the East coast. I didn't know what e d was until almost 2 years ago when I realized it just wasn't working very good. I'm a former Army veteran and I've suffered from ptsd going back to the late '80s.
I didn't know what ptsd was back then either, the military wasn't pro active about ptsd back then, so I didn't realize that problem and lack of sleep and depression, set in. I spent the years without a job or any relationships.
Then I enlisted again into the guard when they needed people badly, and went to operation iraqi freedom. I had just turned 40. It still worked then, but I couldn't readjust to life back here after, and the stress increased even more.
Then I met a woman online who I love. She has lots of emotional problems too, and we just understand each other, she was separated from a marriage at at the time, and I met her the summer before last on the West coast.
I knew I would be nervous being with her sexually, not having had sex in years, actually decades. So I thought losing erections after penetration to be nervousness. And we still had a good time doing other things.
I looked it up online after i was back, and learned of e d. I was tested for low testosterone at the va, but everything seems good. Overall I'm very healthy for my age, and active. I did have hernia surgery in the early 90s do to a hernia
caused during national guard training. Other than that it must be stress, or just a veinous leak.
I went back to be with her and used Viagra with some success. I couldn't tell her though. It was very stressful too. I had to come back here because I couldn't make it there, living in my jeep with my dogs, and she wants me to come back. It's been a year and the e d is worse and I'm concerned the viagra won't work. I want to try the shots and see if those will work. It's holding back building a relationship with a woman I love. I want an implant.

oifsps,

Sorry to hear about your ED problem.
I developed ED Post-Prostatectomy in February 2004 and, unsuccessfully, tried Viagra, VED, MUSE and Injections.
Finally, in Dcember 2007, I underwent the Coloplast Titan Penile Implant Procedure and, thankfully, this completely
corrected my RD and restored both my sex life and the emotional intimacy with my wife of 45 years.
We both love my Titan Implant.
Please read the Posts of the other bionic brothers in the FT Group and participate in the Chat Room.
There is a wealth of information available here.
However, the final decision is yours alone.
Best of luck.

Bob

oifspf: Bob tends to toss out the implant option every chance he gets. I will tell you that it is a last resort. Usually a Dr will insist that all less envasive options be tried first.

There are a couple of things that strike me with your statements. Stress can ba a major factor in ED. Performance Anxiety is also one of the causes of ED. You may have both. If that is the case then some therapy can help.

You mentioned injections. Yes for many they work great. I would suggest that you find an ED specialist that can help you discover what is the nature of your limp guy.

I investigated an implant after my porstate cancer surgery and found that my insurance will not cover it and moved on to the injections. At this time I am very pleased with the way that has worked out for me. I am one of the lucky guys that the Caverject does not cause the pain.

I have tried Caverject, TriMix and BiMix. All work very well for me. I have never had to make the ER run with a 4 hr wood. My Dr said it is less likely to happen with the Caverject.

Join us in the chat room some time. Feel free to email me.

First of all... Thank you so much for your service, BOTH TIMES... I know all of us here at FrankTalk are grateful.
I hope our suggestions, comments and advice may be helpful to get your confidence back for a hard penis when desired.
I, for one, sure do like the trimix injections. I have used them for a year and a half now and it only takes a small dose to give me good wood. Viagra and the other pills were not reliable for me any more, and thats when i went to injections. Every time I inject I get a successful boner except 2 times.
There is may 2 cents worth. Check out the CHATROOM where the guys get goofy sometimes, serious other times, but nearly always interesting. Keep on posting and keeping us up on what your progress is ... we are interested.

I appreciate the responses. I dont know the reason I never saw my post show up on the message board when I first posted about it, but I didnt think it posted then. I just posted another intro, then i saw this under my posts. I have tri mix that arrived last week, but havent had the first injection yet, I have to try it by myself tomorrow. I posted about advice on the injection forums just a a few minutes ago. Any comments appreciated. I could never really afford much viagra either, and the va gives 4 a month to veterans.
I have about 10 unopened bottles of 4 pills I ve been saving with the dates of them on it for when I move back to the west coast and see her again. I havent opened them because I want to use the older pills first, ect..
If the tri mix works I ll use that and try to use viagra on the side. Is that place in asia that sells viagra I ve read about on here legit? Do I have to have a prescription to order from that company?
I will eventually get an implant if I can. I appreciate the comments bob, corvettman, ohohiakane, sincerely.

4 a month is all my Insurance company would allow too ... you can get what you need here: alldaychemist.com

No prescription needed and it works out to about $1 a day (for daily generic Cialis - 5 mg)

Please take advantage of the "Double Pills" option at AlldayChemist and now script is required. Very good vendor.
