My condition and requesting a good urologist in london (UK)?

Postby Zed888 » Thu Jul 02, 2020 4:51 am

Hi, I am 38 years old and have been suffering from ED for several years now. It all started when one day I was sitting down and urinating in the toilet when a huge loud noise scared me. I stopped midflow and felt a sharp pain just at the base of my scrotum on the left side. That pain still comes and goes even today and that area just doesnt feel right. I have tried viagra which helps somewhat but gives me bad side effects including a racing heart and dizziness. I need to find a good urologist who will help me get to the bottom of the problem by doing testing such as for testosterone levels, (i have very low libido), other tests, and a doppler ultrasound to see if my condition is to do with blood flow in the veins etc. I also notice that i always clench my butt when i walk around etc. Not sure why, I have been stressed in the past and this is a bad habit.

If anyone knows or has seen a good urologist in london or gone to a good clinic, please share the details. Much appreciated.

Z

Please find a pelvic floor specialist. The sound caused you to tighten your pelvic floor muscles and they are still in spasm.
A urologist will NOT help with this at all. You need to find a physical therapist trained in Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome. They can be hard to find. go to pelvicrehab.com and type in London. There are only three listed. Call one of them and ask if they know of someone near you.

Hi Paul. That does make a lot of sense. Thank you, I will check up on this pelvic floor issue. That area still feels tight and sometimes it’s very sore. I think it’s blocking a vessel there or something reducing blood flow.
