I noticed when I inject sometimes I meet some resistance; sometimes I don't. Does this mean anything? What causes the resistance? Always have a great erection on 10 units

NJT,

On the AutoInjector... I have never used one since I was not squeamish about injecting. But I think that sometimes it takes away the ability to tell if you have hit/adjusted to the right depth (at least until you are certtain you got it right), With manual injecting you can tell when you have not gone in to the CC (still in penile flesh) because it is difficult to press in the plunger. When that happens manually you just dimple in the syringe some more and usually you then get thru and pressing is easy. With an auto you have no idea until you either got the Big E or you didn't.

I guess also on a autoinjector you have to stick with no less that 30g needle since the 31g are pretty fragile -- although I doubt they would really ever break off -- but they might bend, People always say they might. But the 31g are so slim they are really like just a mosquito bite going in (manually ).

Finally, on the waiting for the next shot thing. I'm not a doc of course, but when you are 'Just Learnin'
you can save time by going every 24 hrs until you are sure you got it right. Then after that settle in to every other day or whatever. After all, every day without an erection is ... one damned sad day ..yah?

Actually, when a refered to an autoinjector I'm actually using Inject-ease Automatic Injector made by Ambimed Inc. Insert the needle but does not actually push the plunger - that's manual, so the "feel" is still there. Also I'm using 31 gauge.

NJT,

Thanks for that info ... never knew they could be set/designed to not push the plunger too. Live and learn.

I do not use an auto injector but if you search on Amazon you will see there is one for about $22. I never had a problem pushing the needle in but some guys just need that extra help. I have looked at one and you to have to push the plunger in by hand.

I should learn more about injecting, Ive injected 4 times now, the first 2 times with 1 unit, the second 1.5 and yesterday 2.5.
The erections at 1 unit lasted about 4 hours and slightly longer but I thought it might not have been enough for a really firm erection.
At 1.5 units it didnt seem as firm as 1 unit, but I used the pump I had just got from the va after I injected thinking that might make it fuller, but it seemed to reduce the firmness. I did read some comments on here that maybe pumping with the medicine makes it less effective. That erection lasted longer than four hours and I was concerned at first but took a sudafed product and it reduced.
Then I injected with just over 2 units, it last longer than 4 hours and I was concerned I was going to have to go to the er but took numerous meds and used ice, the erection actually seemed strongest around the 4 hour point. I know I should have likely gone to the er but I didnt.
I dont think the injections are going to accomplish much in a healthy way, 1 unit isnt enough for a really firm erection it seems, more than that seems to last beyond 4 hours easily.
As for injecting, it esd more difficult to press in after the needle is in the last injection, but another time it was effortlessly. What is it about the needle being at the correct depth? The needle doesnt have to go all the way in every time? If its not easy something is nt the way it should be?

oif,

I am pretty sure you are not actually using only 1 unit or 1.5 or 2. Sounds more like 10, 15 or 20 unless you are a really really really good responder to Trimix. There's other threads talking about what a unit is if you can find em. But the short story is, if you have a 1ml (1cc) syringe then the whole thing is 100 units. Usually graduated in 10s and little tiny tick marks are the units. 1,2,3 units are barely visible down in the first 1/8" of the syringe.

So are you really using 10,15 or 20units? No matter tho, those are pretty standard amounts. Also if you are not achingly rock hard, bang nails hard then don't worry about the 4 hour mark. That does not apply to Almost Hard-ons. If you are bendable and not aching and still warm to the touch, then you are not threatening with priapsis. I am Not a doctor, but your doc can explain it the same.

Also what you see, where MORE units is only extending the time, not making things harder, is also typical for some. (If you did get very hard with 10 units then you might get even harder with 15 or 20 and flirting with Priapsis but I guess you are not getting 100% with 10 units? You did not say if the 20units helped make it towards 100% hard?

Keep asking the questions tho ....

I agree.

Remember: 100 units = 1 cc = 1 ml

Oif,

Did you really use your pump along with Trimix.

Keep in mind that I'm new here and new to Trimix - my first try was just this past weekend. I also have never tried a pump; I chose to go right from Cialis (with no response) to Trimix, since the idea of a pump+ring(s) seemed even more unattractive than an injection and less natural.

However, I'm reasonably sure that I've read from two different medical sources that it is very dangerous to use a pump along with Trimix. Internal bleeding was mentioned as a real risk.

I'd like to hear from others with more experience.

My doc told me it was "not advisable" to mix erection therapies on the same day, especially not during the same "episode".
