Injection Frequency for a Week

I'm going to be holed up with someone for 5 days and the idea is that we want to take advantage of being alone and having sex as much as possible.

I know the literature and the docs recommend not injecting more than a couple times a week but in this one case does anyone think it would be dangerous to inject daily for 5 days?

I only use 4 units so it's not a tremendous dose but I'm just curious what you guys think here?

I don't know about 5 days in a row but multiple days in a row have been known to happen. It's certainly contrary to recommended procedure and doctors advice.

I think it's too frequent, but I'm not going to stop you but, important question: if you got priapism, will you be able to get to hospital?

If you do deep reading on FrankTalk you will find guys have gotten a range of doctor instructions on injection frequency. Two to three times a week seems the most common guideline. But more liberal recommendations are also given by some physicians.

My own urologist says once every 24 hours is okay. I have done that on vacations of a week or longer.

You can also find posts from guys who have done the 8-hour turnaround — bedtime sex followed by morning sex — even though it's clearly outside doctor's orders.

I asked at my last appointment and my urologist straight up told me that the “only 3 times per week” is a conservative number to cover asses. He said that occasional daily use is okay as long as you’re staying about 24 hours apart.

Back in my injection days there were stretches, if we were on a vacation, etc, where I absolutely injected 4-5 days in a row. Many weekends at home I'd inject 3 days in a row or sometimes a morning and then a same day evening injection here and there. Clearly outside the framework of what they tell us to do, but I also never had clinical manifestation of any significant problems. My sole limiting factor was the ever-present soreness in my dick (which, after multiple back to back to back days, was not insignificant). There's a point where moving the injection site around can only do so much because you just run out of real estate.

I did it though and had big fun. Did it arguably way too much. But having the right girl all to myself was just too tempting and far too rewarding, so I did it, and knowing what I know now I'd do it again. But I'm a bit of a delinquent and I'm not sure at all that my advice should be followed...

So I see a lot of varied advice and opinions but has anyone ever asked why the limits? People usually erspond to real concerns. Does it matter if the boner is from viagra, a pump and ring, PT141 or an injection? Like Fauxchi, I'm waiting for the double blind placebo controlled testing.

Not a doctor, but I’m guessing the reasoning behind the spacing of injections is to allow plenty of time for the medication to get out of your system. I would imagine shooting up too frequently just increases the chances of an ER visit

My Urologist told me that injecting TriMix every day is okay for short periods of time because there is some latency in the effects of TriMix wearing off, and you get some overlap from day-to-day, with daily injections.

On vacations, I performed daily injections, no problems, other than the usual problems I had getting my erections to go down after 3+ hours. I had STRONG reactions to TriMix.

Physicians will tell you to use ice to get your erections to go down. That is exactly the wrong solution.

Cold causes blood vessels to constrict and reduce blood flow. Heat causes blood vessels to relax and expand, thereby causing blood to flow.

When you need to get TriMix out of your penis, use heat. I used to use my little spa at 102F for 10-30 minutes. That would do it. Maybe an electric heating pad would work, too, but I never tried it. I was very weak after those treatments but they worked.

A word of caution: My PCP advised me to be careful with immersion in hot water for long periods of time. It causes blood pressure to drop as the vessels open up, and you can kill yourself if the second number on your blood pressure, the diastolic, goes near or below 60. The reason is that when the heart rests, it fills with blood. If your blood pressure is too low, the heart can't fill with blood, and you pass out. That alone could kill you, as you need to get your feet above your head to allow your heart to fill with blood. If you passed out in a spa, you would drown if no one else was present to rescue you.
