Ok, was very interested in your post and ordered myself some of the devices. Have not tried them yet! Also read a lot about the concerns (too tight, leaving on too long, etc.), but they all seem workable. They arrived yesterday and I'm looking forward to trying this week with the wife.

Hi Paul, with hard rings like my hardwear ice you just let your old chap go down on its own, and it comes off the same way as it goes on, but on http://www.myhardwear.com, you can get ones that clip on from underneath, or I have a very cheap one thats because I found it, its a round spring clipped pin from a tractor for holding parts on to the rear, I will put some pictures in when I have them, some of you cockring freaks will just love it.
