10 Years of ED, 3 Approaches, in 21 Photos
Re: 10 Years of ED, 3 Approaches, in 21 Photos
I don't understand why this guy has gone gor an implant? I've never in my life had as good erection ad he had before implant. Very strange.
65 yrs, had venous leak all my life, sildenafil and other pills don't work anymore properly, using Caverject with pills.

Don't wanna sound offensive but deflated looks like it's erect.
How could you hide it while wearing jeans?
Your post-op erect looks super btw

During the first couple of weeks after implantation there is considerable swelling that causes things to be more "erect" than they should be and add to it the stiffer Titan cylinders and that will make it appear both visually and structurally as though it's erect.
This is something that everyone to one degree or another experiences in the first couple of weeks or so and most Titan patients I've seen here report even more rigidity in deflation for some time until things soften a bit. It's normal.
Maybe Stephen54 will be so kind as to show a current "DEFLATED" pic so you can compare the two.

Um, no. Not strange. Entirely logical.
For us.
That's a pivotal caveat: for us.
If you read my backstory the other thread makes considerable effort to explain. Obviously, and I would assume this should go without saying - getting my dick surgically dissected and reassembled with fake parts wasn't exactly a cavalier decision arrived at lightly.
Injecting felt like putting flaming kerosene into my dick toward the end, and the erection you see on the eve of implant surgery was manageable only very briefly and at significant physical discomfort. Then there was the charming longer-term risks of fibrotic tissue developing (which had already begun) and, with that, the potential for a diminished implant experience and capability if and when that bridge had to be crossed later. Had precious little interest in continuing to bludgeon my dick raw, have sub-par (for us) sex, and quite possibly leave myself a lessened opportunity to do what we wish to do (the way we wish to do it) for the rest of our lives. Not to mention the anxiety and uncertainty of how long it will stay hard and all the associated stupid fucking frustrating process which accompanies injecting. Nine years for us was more than plenty. God bless the guys who successfully and comfortably go at injecting longer and get the results they want for them and their partners. That's seriously awesome and I'm happy for them.
I was fucking done. Obviously.
Despite what you may think you see in the later pre-implant photos, those erections came with significant pain, they faded very quickly, and they simply no longer supported the sex life to which we were accustomed nor the sex life we were striving to recapture. Nor the stuff we hadn't even done yet but might choose to do. Had zero interest in fumbling around and accepting less, less, less over how many more years.
I had said, yes, absolutely, we set a really high bar for ourselves. I'm aware. And I understand and acknowledge that our bar is no one else's bar or standard. We have expectations around what we want our sex life together to look like and the prior methods no longer supported that. The implant so far has more than delivered. The other shit had run its course. Period.
I acknowledge that everyone is coming from a different perspective and carrying different goals with their dicks and within their relationships. I wasn't advocating or evangelizing my approach. Simply sharing the detail some guys had asked about in recent months.

Hey man, thank you for the kind words. Really. I think I made the implant leap at the right time, for us. I really wouldn't re-do my pre-implant years any differently I guess. Stuff seems to work out the way it needs to work out, but sure as hell you've got to push and take some leaps and lean into the unknown, right? All the stuff that got us where we are is only problematic if we don't learn something from it and if we don't use it as fuel to appreciate what comes next.
I'm really happy to hear you're having a great result, too. That's so awesome!
Thank you, Hounds.

Can only be happy with a result like that! Your surgeon knows his stuff. Lucky man after all the hell.

Great photos! I should be so lucky having something resembling that in '21.
But had to laugh at the 30 day, post-op, not knowing how to deflate making a beeline back to the Dr's office.
Did they actually TELL you you could inflate? Inflate/deflate is usually done at the Dr's office.
Do another perspective shot over your sink, like your 'before' pic. Did you measure yourself back then?

Hey guys. Not offensive at all, no worries.
Ok so there's obviously a ton of conversations on FT about the flaccid look and feel and behavior after implantation, with both company's devices, etc. Can obviously only speak to my own experiences:
- My surgeon stated he sent me home maximally deflated
- Total with you on this, that my early photos show a dick that looks fairly erect. I get it. But all I can say is that it wasn't. What you see in my post-op early flaccid photos is just my formerly smallish/soft floppy flaccid now filled up with a new, fairly rigid prosthesis. Prosthesis is the size it is and it certainly hogged some space in my shaft and presented itself as a semi-stiff
- My pre-op flaccid was right at 4.0"
- At Waynetho's urging, I just went and photographed my flaccid. Posted below. It's 5.25". So now it's only gaining about 1.0" - 1.25" going from flaccid to fully inflated erect. Before implantation, my flaccid changed from 4" to almost 7.5" when fully erect. I sort of never really processed or thought it out, that big difference in expansion prior to now.
- In the weeks immediately after implantation, before I was able and confident to know what the hell I was even doing, I know I was not fully emptying the cylinders. Who knows. I might have been leaving 10-20% in them, and thinking I was fully deflated when in fact I wasn't. This wasn't intentional, it was just my uncertainty with my new parts and the odd orientation of my pump/deflate buttons. And my reluctance to squeeze my dick as hard as my doc did. He said it's find to crush the hell out of it to deflate. I don't know. I have a $38k prosthesis I think I'm still curious about how hard you can squeeze it repeatedly and not put undue wear on it, or damage it.
- My flaccid is greatly improved today just in terms of living in peace with it, and feeling some comfort walking around, putting a suit on, etc. I don't wear jeans much but when I have done so, I flop to the left and do my best. I still find myself wriggling around occasionally and trying to be subtle about repositioning it at times. I walk around 95% of my day feeling I think mostly unaware of it being a prosthesis. It feels natural like it's a part of me now. Mostly.
Not sure if this helps, but it's what I know. The cylinders are definitely smoothing out some, and my flaccid continues to seem to make slow progress toward hanging a bit more naturally.
