I am now 8 days post op, and thought i would give information about how things are going.
My surgeon does an infra pubic incision(right by base of penis in pubic hair area) i came out of the OR with a urinary, catheter,
A bulb drain and a bandage that wrapped up my penis and scrotum. I came home that afternoon
With all these tubes. At home I assumed the horizontal position on the couch and applied ice bags. The surgeon also wanted pressure over my pubic hair region, so i used a 4 pound bag of sugar in large zip lock bag for pressure. Dr put me on stool softner, antibiotic, and pain pills. He had me taking high dose Ibuprofen every 6 hours around the clock.
I used timers on my Alexa to remind me when to take which meds. I was getting up to drain my urine and blood about every 4 hours. I took a couple narcotics for pain the first 36 hours.
The next morning my wife drove me to the office and the dr took out my catheter but left in my drain because we were getting more then 30 cc in 8 hours. He removed the dressings and instructed me on tugging the pump every time i used the restroom to assist in getting it set in scrotum. he also removed some fluid from the cylinders due to penile swellig. I was sent home with instruction to wear supportive underwear and to alternate daily which side i wore my penis. NEVER down or up but to sides. On even days i wear to the left because there is even number of letters in left. Odd days are right.
At home i countinued my time on couch with ice bags. I found by wearing 2 pairs of underwear i could put the ice bag between the layers and keep it in place.
Returned the next day to office and had drain removed. Now i was told i could take COOL showers using hibiclens soap around genitals and incisions.
So the next 5 days continued with couch, ice, pump tugging, and cool showers. The only issue i had was when tugging on the pump i accidently dug a fingernail into my scrotum and scratched it. I changed to wearing gloves for the task to protect my scrotum.
Went back to Dr 1 week post op with some swelling and bruising esp of scrotum and area around incision. I haven't taken any narcotics for 5 days and i could stop taking the ibuprofen on schedule but only when i need it. For the next week i am supposed to keep ice bags on, and lie down as much as possible.
My next appointment is 15 days post op, and we are hoping to begin cycling the pump up and down. He suggested i take ibuprofen before appointment because thete will probably be discomfort.
That's where i sm right now on this process, which i wish i hadn't put off for so long. Feel free to ask if you have a question. Scott

implant1959,
Welcome to bionic brotherhood.
I am glad you had good recovery so far and hope it will be speedy recovery.
I had my revision surgery on same day as you, December 2nd.
My recovery so far, 8 days post surgery, is going great. Never took any painkillers for pain. My surgeon prescribed Gabapentin 300 mg twice a day and that took care of everything.
I am pleased with my progress.
I was implanted with AMS CX.

Day 12 Update. I am doing well staying on the couch and applying ice. My biggesr issue has been itching and general soreness.
I did take a couple pictures today and can tell that bruising is getting better. Earlier the base of my scrotum was black but much lighter now. Also evident in pics is less bruising around the base of penis.
Will keep updating as things happen.

Hey Scott, welcome to FT and being bionic. I'm about 13 months out getting mine.
Glad you're having what sounds like an easy time with recovery. Once everything is healed up and you get to know your new tool you'll love it.

Re: COLOPLAST Titan Touch Implant. 12/2/2020
INFLATION DAY TODAY
Not the most comfortable procedure, the surgeon had me pump it up as far as I was comfortable, then he gave it a couple more pumps. This is how far he wants it inflated everyday. It stung like a mother, felt like hundreds of needles in my penis. The surgeon asked me then to deflate it, I couldn't concentrate because of the stinging. So he deflated it for me, then had me pump it up some and then practice deflating a few times.
He gave me the go ahead to use and I go back in 3 and a half weeks,
I came home and took the wife to bed, it stung but felt good. Didn't get off, but still felt good.
Got it deflated but it was like my whole penis was overstimulated, not pleasant.
Talked to the Dr office and they said the discomfort was probably due to overuse the first day.
Waited a couple hours and reinflated and deflated and it felt much better then before.
Hoping everyday is better. The guy nurse at the office gave me this reference. "Before your body was an automatic, and now you are driving a 5 speed, there is a learning curve"

Lucky you Scott.
You are activated and started using it.
I had surgery same day as you, but I have to wait 6 weeks before I get activated. My appointment is on January 11, 2021 for activation and teaching inflate / deflate technique.
Since I started being sexually active, this is going to be the longest period without sex about close to 8 months. Last time I had sex with my old implant was Memorial Day this year. Pain ( due to malposition of my old implant) really limited my wife and I to enjoy sex.
Looking forward to new sex life.
I am confident and already feel that AMS CX is right choice for me.
