Thanks for the forum. It has definitely provided me much needed information from other's personal experiences both pre and post/op. Had my Coloplast Titan implant on May 15th,2021 Naples Florida. I'm not going to lie. The first couple of weeks are painful! Just released to have sex 4 1/2 weeks into it and it's all Worth it. My wife of 31 years loves it. Anxiety is gone and we are able to enjoy each other without the fear of losing erection during sex.

Greetings from Virginia. I’m 69 years old, robotic radical prostatectomy 2 years ago. Still no erections, using bi-mix injections as needed. Still have some problems reaching climax, though. Looking for any advice....thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Try not to get discouraged. For some of us RRP survivors maximum nerve recovery can take a long time, even longer than 2 years. Unfortunately some nerve damage may be permanent and adjustments may have to be made and accepted. There have been many discussions on the topic with a number of suggested responses or remedies. So please read all of the older threads on the topic that you can stand. You might find some options that will help. Unfortunately no universal magic bullet has been yet discovered.

I’m 69, and just getting serious about treatment for the prostate enlargement that seems to be the cause of my urinary and erectile dysfunctions.

First steps will be trying a different ED drug and a prostate ‘scope next week.

As if it were a foregone conclusion, the urologist seemed certain he would recommend Urolift (over TURP,) as pins were the only option. But when I did my own search, I see several other options: springs, butterflies, water vapor and more.

So I’m coming here to find some real world experience, or at least a guide to real discussion of the options.

Hi gents. Just had 3-piece implant on Thursday (1/27/22) after pills, and quad mix since about 2007. So far, so good. Just finished antibiotics tonight. Follow up on 2/9/22. Looking forward to being part of group. 68 year old gay man in Dallas, Tx area.

I had the urolift in March of 2021. Was questionable if it would work as my prostate was very large. Recovery was ok but had blood clot problems 3 weeks later. Urination was improved but prostate inflammation was a concern. I got the opinion of another Dr. and he showed me with colostomy the large median lobe that was still presented in the bladder neck after the procedure. His thought was he would have not done a urolift. Know your options. It's possible I will need further work down the road.

Hello--I used to be on here often but have not been her in several years. I am 72 with ED about 11 years now--tumor in my pituitary among other causes. Right now my erections are wonderful, thanks to a great urologist--I do testosterone gel every day, take 5 mg Cialis daily, exercise often, am on a healthy vegan diet, and am very grateful. I also have been earning tantra for 6 years and would love to share what I have learned. It is wonderful stuff. married 41 years--wife is older with many health issues.
