Trimix - venous leak - sexual position issues
Re: Trimix - venous leak - sexual position issues
Was on pills for many years and now injections for 4 years. Anything with me on bottom does not work and it's the wife's fave. I have found that side saddle works well for some reason and gets awesome penetration. Missionary not as well. Due to my geometry (kicks up 20 deg at the end 1/3rd and always has, not peronies), standing at edge of bed isn't great, but standing works sell for the erection for manual. I've been doing a range of penile PT and have been successful at reducing the dose and the burn, among other benes. Note that the trade-off now for positions is duration. While it's not great for me, anorgasmia produces long sessions - basically as long as she can stand before tiring or going into delirium - which she'd take any day over cowgirl.
NOT an MD. 72, M52 yrs, CenTX US. Inj since 12/2016, a yr after pills stopped working. Caverject for a yr. 1/2018 Tri-Mix at 30 pap/2 phent/60 pge @0.3ml, now 0.5ml 80mcg/ml PGE1. DE/Anorgasmia setting in since 5/2019, worse now.
Re: Trimix - venous leak - sexual position issues
My venous leak stemmed from a vasectomy. I followed the advice from the uro and used the bag of peas avoiding exercise. Ironically my left testicle felt like someone was squeezing it extremely hard...and at that point, I couldn't get a full erection. I complained about the pain to my wife and went back to uro. They said there was inflammation and recommended I take 800 mg ibuprofen every 6 hours for 4 weeks and return for follow-up. At follow up, no more pain, but still no erections. Tried every pill on the market.
Finally saw another uro, did the doppler test and found it was venous leak. Both uro's won't admit this can happen from vasectomy...and my primary care agrees. Interesting though - venous leak can be caused by an infection - which is what I believe caused it. So if anyone is looking to get a vasectomy, and experiences pain after. Get on an antibiotic - hopefully you won't go through what I did.
Very happy so far with trimix except the position issue. I'll give Xialla a try. If anyone can think of anything else, let me know. As for the implant - that may be a future plan. Right now uro says if we can work with trimix, I'm better off (since I'm only 43) Much thanks.

Re: Trimix - venous leak - sexual position issues
Sorry to here about it. I have VL also. Trimix and a ring help a lot at first. I settled on PerfectFit rings, graduated in 0.1" diameters. Also, then pumping for blood flow and nutrients once to twice daily. It has had very good results over the last two years. For the last 3 months, I have added taking 5mg cialis daily. My VL is diminishing noticeably, but not anywhere near completely!!. Delayed ejaculation is now a thing of the past. It took a year of this protocol to achieve the first ejaculation.
Stan, 69 years old, no erection for 2 years, mild atrophy now restored my pump, using injection/ring, venous leakage, still adjusting mix.

Thanks, I did a few years ago. Went to a few urologists. Even got some test with Dr Lipshultz where he injected something into my dick. Told me that everything was great and said here’s a few viagra to get your confidence back
Did they do a penile doppler scan?

I don’t recall what it was called but it might have been that. I was laying down on some reclining thing while they had a screen up that was measuring pressure in my dick or something
26 years old. USA. ED problem since teenage years. Doctor prescribed ED meds showing some efficacy but not a guarantee. As much as I’d like the implant I now think I should hold off if I’m seeing some results from pills
