International travel with trimix?

Looking into traveling from US to Jamaica on a vacation. Curious to see how the process is with trimix. Do you pack it in frozen gel packs? Put in your checked baggage or carry on? What’s the process for screening medication? Anyway to do this discreetly? What about the syringes? Any suggestions? Thanks for replies

Traveling with Trimix

I ordered a small carrying pack from Amazon that had two small freezer packs on each side of the medication. I carried this on board with me and made sure had it my entire trip. I knew if I didn’t have it I would have no sex. I made the trip with it just fine and the medication did as well. Inspections were no problem.

I traveled to Rio de Janiero with 10ML of trimix, after the 19 hour trek there, I wasn’t able to keep the temperature from rising (it killed the potency and it barely worked for 15 min— 15min isn’t enough time for Brazil, they want to have sex for hours lol).

It took me 5 days to figure out how I was going to overcome the dilemma. Here is what I found, you can walk into pharmacies/aka Farmacias Drogo to get caverject solution for $20 USD, I mixed the solution and injected it just like trimix (I didn’t use the auto injector). It works with oral taladafil/sildenafil but only gives you a good hour but that’s it. That’s the next best thing when you are desperate, don’t worry about saving the solution, the potency disappears quickly after mixing, trust me, I tried using the left over twice.

Below is a link to purchase the trimix from São Paulo, they will overnight to Rio but you need to see a doctor first to get a script, I found a Uro nearby, his nurse doesn’t speak English but just use the google translate app and speak into it and she will do the same. The doctor speaks English so if he isn’t there ask if she can call him.

I would suggest going straight to see Dr Jose or another Uro near Leblon (it’s a neighborhood, kind of like the Beverly Hills of Rio) and of possible, arrange for him to do it and have it shipped there so you won’t have any trouble, because it is a third world country lol and everything weird happens there).

Buy a insulin pack. That's a small case with a couple freezer packs in it. I found one that held a vial and a couple of needles. It kept my Trimix cold enough on a flight to Vegas. Packed it early AM, flight took 4 hours, few more hours before we could check in to our hotel.

Does this mean you injected twice a day for 19 days in a row? I'm new to injecting but the doc told me to inject no more than once every 24 hours, not sure if there's any reason for that or not

DON’T Inject twice a day for multiple days. Definitely follow your doctors advice. You don’t want to get injured.

When I was injecting, I occasionally mistakenly left my Trimix un refrigerated for several days (once for a week) and experienced little if any reduction In effectiveness.

I too have accidentally let a Trimix vial get warm for a day and found little to no reduction in potency.

Somewhere in the thousands of posts in the forum someone posted a medical study that showed that 24 hours at room temperature the prostaglandins in TriMix had broken down by 8% or so and that it was still highly effective.

I’ve done two things when traveling with Trimix:
1) a travel case made for keeping meds cold. They zip shut and have a small ice pack in there. Works great for domestic flights since it keeps it cold for 8 hours or so.

2) Or put the medication vial in a zip lock baggie. Dropped that inside a double walled thermos. Fill the thermos the rest of the way with ice. I put that in my checked luggage. I’ve never had an issue. THAT keeps cold for 24 hours or more.
