I expect the lump will go away. Give it a little time. As you stated it just happened Wednesday. Don't be a worry wart.

Thanks for the warm welcome and responses. Seems relatively low risk except for the scarring.

Sound intense notaes. Did the scarring worsen your ED or affect sensitivity? I know too much scarring can cause curvature/Peyronie's. Guess they didn't heal over time.

After trying everything else, short of an implant, I was very hesitant about sticking a needle in my penis. Started out on Trimax 20 mg, wound up in the ER with an erection that would not quit, to the point where I was so hard it was starting to hurt. Lowered the dose to 5 mg, another ER visit. Changed to Alprostadil ? at the lowest possible dose, Hello ER again. Put me on the jell that you squirt in your uretha with absolutely no effect at all. Dr. advised me that, since nothing worked except the injections but the result was not acceptable (ER EVERY time), my last option was to consider an implant. I guess my body is ultra sensitive to the injection ingredients, but if I could ese the injections, I would love it.

I misused an auto injector and left a pretty bad scar on my penis. Had no problems with hand injections. Like everybody said they are pretty safe.

Was the implant surgery any more difficult for the surgeon due to the plaques that developed on your penis? Did you suffer from any long-term consequence, or has the implant essentially solved for all of that?
30 years old French with ED caused by priapism episodes at the age of 15. Pills have lost most of their potency, injections work but are painful and not a long-term solution. Scheduled for an AMS 700 CX on 05/12/2024.

I ended up in the emergency room with an irregular heart beat and Atrial Flutter from using Tri-Mix, very scary. Web Med lists that as a possible side effect, and a very real event for me. Now I just use Alprostadil, with great success.
