Does anyone know whatever happened to the Botox study? They conducted a Phase I trial which showed a lot of success and were planning to do a Phase II study with more people, but I cannot find any mentions of that study online.

Botox Trials
24 Years Old. Two unsuccessful venous ligation surgeries. Lifelong venous leakage.
Re: Botox Trials
I am also curious. I think it would help with flaccid shrinkage and ed from SSRI. I wander if you can have clinics do this?

Re: Botox Trials
Think so but doesn’t seem like any results were posted. Wonder if that means something went wrong?

More time may be needed before results appear.
Here is another trial that is more recent and may be still in progress:
https://ichgcp.net/clinical-trials-registry/NCT04172558
It is being carried out by the same researcher, I note there is an email address for him in the above information. You could try contacting them for when results may be published. You might get a reply!

Is this for real? Are they really offering botox for ED (off label) based on a couple of Phase I trials?
Anyone living in the US be willing to try this and report back? Could be the most effective and practical treatment for ED we'll ever have short of a cure like tissue engineering.

Possibly VL since 16.
Experimenting with PGE1 injections
which occasionally works too good and other times,
too poorly. Confusing situation.

This clinic is offering Botox for ED and the results of the recent trials do not seem to be available as yet?
I note they say it is not FDA approved and the studies have been small in number.
Therefore anyone partaking in this would essentially be a guinea pig!

Re: Botox Trials
I may be going for this. I have been in contact with the clinic in Manhattan. Results from the trials have been good, but it is not approved by fda. I’m willing to give it a try before an implant.

Do you have a copy of these results? Is this in relation to the latest trials?
If you are just about to get an implant, then I suppose you have nothing to lose with trying this.
Please do keep us informed of the whole process.
This treatment really does spark my interest as Botox causes muscle to relax. The penis does not contain the same muscle as our limbs do, however, it is comprised of a great deal of micro smooth muscle in all of the vascular erectile tissues. Botox affects this muscle in the same way.
This treatment may be very effective for some men.
However, there needs to be a sufficient amount of working smooth muscle in the erectile tissues for this treatment to work. So in the case of advanced fibrosis, which is the loss of smooth muscle and replacement with collagen, the effect may not be as good and CVOD will still occur, which is a venous leak.
