Limit on penile implant replacements?

Postby Benjohn » Tue Mar 16, 2021 3:00 pm

Does anyone know if there is a limit to the amount of times a patient can have penile implants replaced in a lifetime? I have currently been prescribed Invicorp and this seems to work well, but I worry about what the future holds if I require penile implants too early. Any advice greatly appreciated.
British, 32 yrs old. ED caused by Paraphimosis in 2019. 100mg Sildenafil for sex. Trialled Invicorp as advised by doctor in 2021 but it was too strong. Taking 50mg-75mg of Sildenafil every night at 3am to stimulate morning erections, good response so far.

I'm fairly certain that I've read posts by a guy that has had 7 revisions or new implants. Currently there is a guy on the implant section waiting for his fourth one. Remember, not all revisions included a complete remove & replace.
I suggest that you research the NHS to see if they have an artificial limit on implants.

Sure, I'll take a look at NHS options. Already keeping some money back for the prospect of private treatment if required in the future. Thanks
