Dr Visit or Internet?
Dr Visit or Internet?
I’m ready to take the plunge and try injections. My wife wants me to make a urology appointment and have him show me and do the first injection. How many of you recommend that vs YouTube video and order trimix online?

Re: Dr Visit or Internet?
I suggest seeing urologist! In fact my urologist would not prescribe the Trimix without seeing me. I had to get the initial one shot Trimix in dose/formula he wanted to start with.
He insisted that he show me how to inject and where on penis. Another reason he, and you, should want to have first injection in the office is for safety. He wants to make sure you don’t get a four hour erection and end up in the ER to get your penis drained.
He can deal with it. I got the instructions, got injected, then he would check on me every so often to see if I had erection and how hard it was. He wanted to know if my penis ached because of the Trimix and he wanted to see how long the erection lasted. Once it started getting soft I was released to go home. It’s just the wise thing to do in my opinion, get urologist appointment!
I hope you like your injections as much as I do.
If you want to PM message with any other questions please do so, I’ll give you my experiences with Trimix.

Diagnosed venous leak. Going with injections rather than implant for the time being.
Re: Dr Visit or Internet?
Any MD who would prescribe Trimix to a new patient without seeing them in person for an exam and in person teaching is sketchy.
Go see a urologist in person.

I think you'll have a hard time getting prescribed Trimix online. If you are able to successfully do so, please post back

Yes, you can get tri-mix prescribed online.
Yes, it's much better to get prescribed through a local urologist with an in office trial and instructions IF it's a urologist that's actually good at that stuff. Unfortunately many are not. My original urologist gave me a script for Edex and suggested I read the instructions in the box. But overall it's definitely best to go through a local urologist. Just don't count on getting all of the information or training you really need. But you'll get it figured out.
Good luck.

Re: Dr Visit or Internet?
I think one needs to have an understanding of the root cause of their ED. A urologist can help with this.
I felt confident of the cause of my condition (heart rhythm drugs) and decided to purchase online with a telephone MD consultation. Since this was at the peak of COVID I do not regret my decision. Though I had lots of self injection experience from testosterone the data shared on this forum helped immensely. I was not afraid of injecting the little man and found it to be easy with 100% success so far.
I think you can also get better medication pricing if you have a prescription you can shop with. Online prescription sources do not allow this as far as I could tell.

Olympia Pharmacy for one. You get a telemed consultation. There are others. I'm certainly not suggesting this is the best or even a good option.
