Hey Bob, thanks for the response. Going to the ERO is not a big deal as they are only 8 blocks away, it's just the covid/mask and waiting hassle. What size needle and syringe do you use? The TST looks pretty fluid in the vial and I am wondering if I can use the same needle as I use to stick my dick? I use a 1/2 inch 30 gauge with 1CC capacity.
Phil, 75, married 54 years, ED started about 9 years ago. After viagra and cialis and pumping have found Trimix. Use 10 units injected with a partial erection. 31g-5/16" or 31g 1/2"needle. 10-1-30 :D :D :D Wife likes it too :D :D :D :D

Wow--try changing the TRIMIX needle to a 31 gauge and a 3/8 inch. I did and it was much better than the 30 gauge.
The T needle is much bigger and longer. It is an intramuscular injection. The gauge is--23 and an inch length. I am using 0.7 ml once per week.

Have you been checking your T levels since injections. The first three years I injected T I was at 1ml every other week w blood levels in the 450 range. Recently went to a hormone clinic and the Dr suggested I double that for a goal of 950-1000. Now 5 weeks into weekly T injections I’m having morning wood and had to reduce my trimix amount from 10 units to 5-6.
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!

I get my T levels checked every three months. It is maintaining by injecting 7 units (0.7 ml) weekly. As background, when I was off TRT for over two years during PCa treatment, my T-level went to 50. So, without TRT I am effectively a eunuch.

I get my levels checked every 3 months by my URO. A week ago she said they were fine and I could go 3 months without injections, we would check again after 3 months and if still acceptable we would go another 3 months without them.

I have not heard of receiving testosterone (T) like that, except when I was getting the pellets which released T continuously. It is important to keep T levels relatively stable, which is why I get weekly injections. Also, it is more important to assess how you feel. My URO always asks that question first and then we look at the numbers from the lab before making adjustments. My weekly injection amount has not changed in six months now. Over time, TRT suppresses natural T production.

For the past 2 years, I've been on TRT. My T #'s have ranged between 525 and 680.
Taking "Testosterone Cypionate" 1mL every 2 weeks and the needle is a B-D 22ga. - 1" long.(same syringe for drawing and injecting)
I ask my urologist about the length of time that I would be on TRT, he said probably for ever. And yes the testicles stop making testosterone when you start TRT....AND the "plums" shrink. They are a lot smaller that they were 2 years ago

Just from my 20 years of experience battling low T, your numbers are low for being on TRT. While they are in the normal range they are near the lower end. Your URO should be willing to let you increase your dose to see how you feel--you may feel better and be mentally sharper with a higher dose. I think 1100 is near the top end. As for the shrinking "plums" you may talk to your URO about using hCG, yes it's another injection but it may stop the shrinkage and restore some functionality to your testicles. My URO suggested hCG a couple months ago and even my totally atrophied remaining testicle is responding.

Thanks RJ,
Sending the Uro an email today. As for the "plums", the wife and I talked and we decided to not have any more children and ...the implant is the main operational mechanism at this time...lol...and it works GREAT!!
